We had a terrible experience with this vet. We were loyal customers brought many of our pets here because the price was much cheaper than anywhere else so we would drive an hour just to go here. Should've just paid the regular prices and saved myself a lot of heartache. We got our dog neutered here and when he got home, he started hemorrhaging everywhere. It was after hours so we rushed him to the emergency vet $3000 later and surgery to fix what this vet did we got our dog back. Thankfully he was OK if it had happened when we were asleep, he would've died. The emergency vet said an artery could've been missed, and it was leaking out into his body. The next day they took absolutely no responsibility when we called them to tell them what happened. We asked if we could get any kind of refund because we needed Emergency surgery because of a mistake they made. they argued with us and we're very rude. No concern about our dog. We were very traumatized and didn't want the heartache of trying any harder to get our money back so we just bit the bullet. I recently called to get my records to go somewhere else. The receptionist was insistent that we must have the wrong place because they didn't have our records. Apparently they disabled, all of our accounts, can't discontinue someone's account because they were unhappy with you. You still need to provide my dogs records and have them on hand, thankfully after some, pushing that we definitely took our dog and multiple other pets there and two different phone calls they were able to find our records and send them to us. Be very careful going here may seem good, but they had no care for us when they made a mistake and almost killed our dog. We have had dozens of dogs in our lifetime all Of them have been spayed or neutered. Never had an issue like this before no accountability from Parker Way Vet just rude and uncaring. If you love your pets beware of this place.

Parker Way Veterinary Clinic Introduce

Hello to the pet owners in the Mount Vernon, WA area. If you are looking for a Pet Hospital, Parker Way Veterinary Clinic, located at 1310 N Laventure Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, USA, is one option you might be considering. They can be reached at (360) 424-7387 or +1 360-424-7387. It’s important to get a comprehensive understanding of any veterinary care provider before entrusting them with the health of your beloved pets. The following information is based on reviews shared by individuals who have used the services of Parker Way Veterinary Clinic.

One customer recounts a deeply concerning experience following their dog's neutering procedure at Parker Way Veterinary Clinic. They mention being loyal customers who brought multiple pets there, attracted by prices that were reportedly much cheaper than other options, even necessitating an hour-long drive. However, this initial cost saving was overshadowed by a severe post-operative complication. According to the review, their dog began hemorrhaging after returning home, requiring an emergency visit to another veterinary facility. This emergency care, including surgery to correct the issue, cost them $3000. The emergency vet reportedly indicated that an artery might have been missed during the neutering procedure at Parker Way Veterinary Clinic, leading to internal bleeding.

The reviewer further states that when they contacted Parker Way Veterinary Clinic the following day to inform them of what had occurred and inquire about a possible refund due to the need for emergency surgery resulting from a potential mistake, the clinic allegedly took no responsibility. They describe the interaction as argumentative and rude, with a lack of concern shown for their dog's well-being. Feeling traumatized, the pet owners decided not to pursue the matter of reimbursement further.

Adding to their negative experience, the reviewer details a subsequent issue when they called to obtain their pet's records to seek care elsewhere. They claim that the receptionist initially insisted they must have the wrong clinic, stating they had no records for them. The reviewer suggests that their accounts might have been disabled due to their dissatisfaction. They emphasize the obligation of the clinic to provide pet records, and after some persistence over two phone calls, the records were eventually located and sent. The reviewer concludes with a strong warning, advising caution to those considering Parker Way Veterinary Clinic, suggesting that while the prices might seem appealing, the lack of accountability and care they allegedly experienced after a serious complication is a significant concern.

Another, more recent review mentions switching to Parker Way Veterinary Clinic based on a friend's recommendation who considered them 'the best.' However, this new customer expresses a clear intolerance for rudeness, particularly from reception staff. They voice hope that any issues with staff demeanor, based on what they had read (presumably including the first review), had been resolved by the time their records were transferred. This second review, while not detailing a negative medical outcome, does raise a concern about the front office experience based on prior feedback.

Considering these two reviews, a picture emerges that highlights a potential discrepancy between the low prices that might attract some customers and the quality of care and customer service experienced. One reviewer alleges a serious surgical complication with a lack of accountability and a rude response from the clinic, while the other expresses concern about potential rudeness from the receptionist.

Based solely on this limited information, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of Parker Way Veterinary Clinic. The first review does not describe the clinic's physical environment, but it does unfortunately paint a picture of a potentially uncaring and unaccountable customer service approach when serious issues arise. The services mentioned include neutering, but the quality of the post-operative care is called into question by the first reviewer's experience. The second review doesn't elaborate on the services but focuses on the initial impression of customer service.

A potential feature that might attract clients is the lower pricing mentioned in the first review. However, the reviewer ultimately suggests that this lower cost was not worth the subsequent heartache and expense incurred due to the alleged complications and the clinic's response. There is no mention of any promotional information in either of these reviews.

In conclusion, based on the limited information available, particularly the detailed negative experience shared by one long-term customer, it is difficult to provide a positive introduction to Parker Way Veterinary Clinic. The review raises serious concerns about the standard of surgical aftercare and the clinic's handling of significant complications. While another reviewer had not yet formed a strong opinion but noted a friend's positive recommendation while also expressing concern about potential rudeness, the more detailed account paints a troubling picture. For local users in Mount Vernon, WA, it would be prudent to weigh these experiences carefully when considering Parker Way Veterinary Clinic for their pet care needs. It would be advisable to seek additional information and potentially other reviews to get a more balanced perspective before making a decision.

Pet owners in Mount Vernon, WA, are encouraged to consider all available information when choosing a Pet Hospital. The experiences shared here highlight the importance of not only price but also the quality of medical care, post-operative support, and customer service. Further research and possibly seeking opinions from other pet owners in the area might be beneficial in making an informed decision about where to entrust the health of your beloved animals.

Oh Dear...I just changed vets to Parker Way as I heard from a friend they were the best. I don't tolerate rudeness from any one, let alone receptionist. I surely hope after having our records already transferred that these problems I read here have been resolved with that staff individual.

I have held off on leaving a review to try and give this place an opportunity to redeem themselves but it has only gotten worse. It took three appointments before I actually had the correct diagnosis and my dog started getting better. If it wasn't for me pushing the issue they would of never followed back up. Then, it has been nothing but hassle every time I need to refill the prescription. They want to do blood work every time; seems a little excessive but ok... Then when I go to schedule the appointment they will no longer answer the phone! I called 4 times yesterday and 2 times today. Finally gave up and scheduled with another vet who answered the first time I called! But now, unfortunately, I am pretty much starting over and costing me even more financially!

I drive 1 hour to take my bulldog there, even though the receptionists are not the nicest people, I do love the Dr. She is very familiar with bulldogs. I don't see my self changing vets in the future.
