Definitely NOT a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. I called today and was quoted $345 to neuter a 30lb dog. UPDATE-Found a Low-Cost clinic where my dog had his surgery. I only paid $210 total. Including the pre-surgical lab work because my dog is 9 yrs old. Just the surgery itself is only $150. I recommend Haven Pet Ctr in Hemet.

Welcome to Park H R DVM
Park H R DVM, located at 24588 Sunnymead Boulevard, Moreno Valley, CA 92553, USA, operates as a veterinary clinic serving the local community. It is important for potential clients to understand that the practice appears to have undergone a significant transition, particularly concerning its pricing structure and philosophical approach to veterinary care, as indicated by recent customer feedback. This introduction will provide an objective overview based on the available information, focusing on its current state as a pet hospital.
The **environment** at Park H R DVM, based on the provided customer feedback, presents a complex picture. While physical details of the clinic's ambiance are not described, the reviews primarily focus on the perceived shift in the practice's approach to pet care, particularly its pricing. Historically, under the previous management (Dr. Park), the environment was perceived as one where "Kindness and compassion meant more to him than getting wealthy," and where a focus was placed on community welfare through "low cost spay/neuter clinic to reduce pet overpopulation." This suggests that the former environment prioritized accessibility and community service. However, the current feedback indicates a significant change, with clients expressing concerns about "ridiculously high" charges and a perception that the "current vet's ONLY concern is to line his wallet." This suggests that for some clients, the current environment is viewed through the lens of cost, potentially leading to a less favorable perception despite the absence of details on cleanliness, staff demeanor, or facility comfort. In a pet hospital setting, the environment encompasses not just the physical space but also the perceived ethos of care and financial accessibility, which appears to be a point of contention for this practice based on the reviews.
The **services** offered by Park H R DVM, as a veterinary clinic, would typically encompass a standard range of general veterinary care for companion animals. While the provided information specifically details spay/neuter services, it is reasonable to infer that the practice also provides other essential veterinary services, which commonly include:
- **General Health Examinations:** Routine check-ups to assess overall pet health.
- **Vaccinations:** Administering necessary immunizations to protect against common diseases.
- **Preventative Care:** Advice and products for parasite control (fleas, ticks, worms).
- **Diagnosis and Treatment of Illnesses:** Addressing various medical conditions and injuries.
- **Surgical Procedures:** Beyond spay/neuter, this would typically include other common soft tissue surgeries.
- **Dental Care:** Routine cleanings and addressing dental issues.
- **Laboratory Services:** In-house or external lab work for diagnostics.
However, the most prominent service mentioned in the feedback is **spay/neuter procedures**. The quoted price of $345 for neutering a 30lb dog and the comparison to a low-cost clinic at $150 (surgery only) with $210 including pre-surgical lab work for a 9-year-old dog, highlight a significant price difference. This suggests that while spay/neuter services are offered, they are positioned at a different price point compared to dedicated low-cost alternatives, which is a critical piece of information for local users seeking these specific services.
The **features** of Park H R DVM, as gleaned from the customer feedback, are primarily centered around its pricing and the perceived shift in its operational philosophy. A notable feature is the **change in the practice's ethos** from one that was perceived as community-minded and affordable under Dr. Park, to one where current pricing is considered "ridiculously high" by some clients. This evolution in the practice's approach to cost is a significant feature that directly impacts client perception and decision-making. The clinic is **not positioned as a low-cost spay/neuter option**, which is a crucial distinction for pet owners seeking budget-friendly surgical solutions. This is highlighted by the direct comparison made by a customer who found a significantly cheaper alternative. While the clinic may offer comprehensive veterinary care, its current pricing structure, especially for routine procedures like spay/neuter, appears to be a dominant characteristic. The contact phone numbers, (951) 242-4056 and +1 951-242-4056, provide direct access for inquiries regarding services and pricing, allowing potential clients to ascertain current costs firsthand before committing. It's important to note that the provided feedback focuses heavily on pricing and does not offer insights into other aspects of care, such as the staff's demeanor, the quality of medical outcomes, or the facility's physical attributes, under the current management. Therefore, the most evident feature is the shift in its affordability model.
In terms of **promotional information**, the current public perception of Park H R DVM, based on the provided reviews, is heavily influenced by its pricing structure, particularly for spay/neuter services. While traditional promotional efforts would typically highlight quality of care, experienced staff, and a wide range of services, the prevailing sentiment from the given reviews suggests that the current operational model may not be actively promoting itself as an affordable option. For local users, the key promotional message derived from this feedback is to be aware of their pricing. If the practice aims to attract clients, it would need to address the perception of high costs or justify its pricing based on unique offerings, advanced technology, specialized expertise, or a more premium service model, none of which are detailed in the provided information. The primary way for potential clients to obtain current and accurate promotional information, including detailed pricing and service offerings, would be to directly contact the clinic via phone at (951) 242-4056 or +1 951-242-4056. This direct engagement would allow individuals to make their own informed decisions based on their budget and specific veterinary needs. The contrast drawn by a past client with the former Dr. Park's approach to community welfare through low-cost services indicates a historical promotional angle that is no longer perceived to be in effect. Therefore, the practice's current promotional strategy, if any, is not evident from the provided feedback, and its pricing remains a significant and commented-upon aspect for the local community.

Sep 24, 2024 · Anel De La CruzThe previous vet, Dr. Park, truly cared for the animals. Kindness and compassion meant more to him than getting wealthy. He offered a low cost spay/neuter clinic to reduce pet overpopulation. Unfortunately, this current vet's ONLY concern is to line his wallet. The charges are ridiculously high for the average pet owner who is just trying to provide a healthy life for a loved pet.
Nov 28, 2022 · Tina BenchIf you love your pet and find yourself having to get it euthanized - do NOT go to this veterinarian! Price quoted over phone was increased by $35 and they were focused on getting that money. What I was told on the phone did not happen once there. Staff was rude and very sparse with their answers to questions - mine and others. Overall, a very upsetting experience.
Jul 21, 2020 · Dianne RuizYes you do wait ! But it is worth the wait the staff and Mr Parks are very kind and compassionate my dogs and cats have been there and have had surgeries, they even helped my three new born abandoned kittens survive. I no longer live in Moreno Valley after 20 yrs but will always recommend them. Thank you
Dec 22, 2017 · brenda larragoitiyDr park is a great vet. We have used him for over 30 years. Staff is friendly and helpful. 3 star rating is based on long wait times, even with an appointment you'll be here a while. But the care Dr park gives is worth it.
