Apr 11, 2025 · Mike FearVery knowledgeable veterinarians and a surgeon. They did a TPLO surgery on my dog and a CCL surgery on the other leg this year. Both were successful. They always call to see how your pet is doing after you see them. Just make sure you ask for an in person appointment if you want to go back with your pet because they are still using the Covid protocol as of September 2024, so you are likely to get an appointment where they just take your pet back while you wait in the car. I love the veterinarian there, though. They are thorough and super nice.
Sep 26, 2024 · BeckyOne of the best vets I’ve ever taken my pets too. Everyone from the door back are wonderful. Everyone there are so friendly. They are extremely compassionate not only to your pet but also to the pet parents. They take time to make sure you understand any and everything they are doing. There’s no pressure as to what you should do for the well being of your pet, but they will always s give you every option so that you can make the decision. I would recommend to anyone. The only problem I have is that their policy and procedures states that with exotics like my birds are curb side only. I would like to see that change as our birds are just as much a loved family member as any other pet so of course you want to be there for the exam to let your exotics know they are safe because they can see you.
Dec 16, 2023 · JenniferFelt very comfortable and adequately informed. My cat Charlie was recently adopted into our home, and I am happy to know of possible things that can happen, what he can contract, etc. luckily he is healthy and Dr.Riggs really took her time to explain and educate me. I appreciate that because I don’t take having a new family member lightly. I would also like to mention, to ask about their entering/car policy because if it’s your first time you might not know! I wasn’t aware and walked right in, oops!! lol. But after they informed me, I think it’s a very effective and efficient way to make sure your fur baby is taken care of!
Dec 14, 2024 · Ashlee HawkinsBeing a first time cat owner. I knew something was off when my big guy didn’t want his favorite treat. So the next day I watch him and he did something he hasn’t done before. When I couldn’t find him, he was hiding under my bed curled up on one of my shirt he pulled of my dresser. Please note that this kitty belongs to my daughter and I’m the Nana as she calls me for him. That’s when I knew something was really wrong, so I called my sister-n-law who has had cats all her life and told her what was going on, she asked me to see if he felt hot to touch and he did. She told me to get him to a vet immediately, even if was the emergency vet. I called all the vet around me (3 in total) and Paradox Animal Hospital receptionist was kind and listen to all my concerns and set me and appointments that day for 11:30 am. Once at the appointment we met Cheyenne one of the vet techs, she took Figaro and me into a room asked me what was going on, I told her all my concerns and she took he temperature and said that it was elevated. I asked how high it was and she said 104.7, so I asked what I’d normal? She said 90 to 102 is normal for cats. She then said she was going to talk to the doctor and before I knew the doctor came in (please forgive me I didn’t catch her name) anyway she looked over my “grandson” and she explained everything that they wanted to do to help. She said that they would need to keep him for about an hour. When I came to pick him up. I was expecting to be paying all lot of money for everything they did, but it was very reasonable much better than thought it would be. They told me that everything they did was good for 24 hours and that I needed to watch and make sure he eating the next day. Which he was. He back to his old playful, silly self and I couldn’t be happier. Cheyenne even called me this morning just to see how Figaro was doing. I have decided that from now on all my pets will be coming to Paradox Animal Hospital and I highly recommend that you do too.
