Papaya Veterinary Care - Carmel Valley

Excellent service and exceptional care! Our dog, Biscuit, had a complete turnaround in energy after his dental cleaning a couple of weeks ago. The team at Papaya Veterinary Care discovered a string from a chew toy wrapped around one of his back teeth, along with an infected tooth. They removed five teeth, and Biscuit has been thriving ever since! Their thoroughness, compassion, and attention to detail were top-notch. We were so impressed that we’ve decided to switch both our dogs to Papaya for ongoing care, even though it’s a 45-minute drive! We’re heading back for his 2-week check-up this Friday and couldn’t be happier with the care he’s received. Highly recommend Papaya Veterinary Care!

I have to leave a comment!! A month ago, I was struggling on handling health certification for my cat because I am taking him to other country. My headache was solved until I found papaya! My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Papaya, including the doctors, and the other helpers. Everyone was very patient in helping me to find a solution and were very courteous without being unprofessional. Therefore, I have to highly recommend this animal hospital, thank you!

my baby Sylvester got neutered and I could not ask for A better vet, definitely recommend and definitely going back! he healed very quickly and I felt safe, leaving him with an amazing staff!!

Excellent from the start! Effortless to get an appointment, the doctor was beyond knowledgeable, her Tech was very supportive and kind as was her office Manager. . I’ve been to many vets locally like Torrey Pines vets, etc. I felt much mote comfortable and knew my dogs were in very capable hands. I was very impressed to hear of the amazing accomplishments she has made throughout her life as a vet… I questioned the name Papaya for a Veterinarian’s office and the answer was really cool. It’s the one fruit both dogs and cats can eat that’s lgood for them and they like so….I thought that was a thoughtful name for a Vet hospital. They really helped my poor sick recently rescued Boxer. I would refer to them 1000 percent. Thank you.

Very pleasant experience with our new Vet Dr.Dugan. She was exactly what I was hoping to get considering that I have two senior dogs and do not want to put them under much stress but using common sense regarding their treatment. Previous vets made things more complicated than needed. Dr. Dugan was very knowledgeable and understanding to recommend the best care and treatment.

Always a 5 star experience with Dr. Dugan. We have complete faith and trust in her when it comes to our beloved rescue dogs!
