Had to get our foster dogs vaccinations on very short notice, called in spoke with someone and got an appointment that very same day! They recommended the package c, which was rabies , bordetella, and dapp. Plus fecal exam plus heart worm test . Was quoted 115$ , which was the best price after calling in about 5 local cypress area vet clinics. Although when I went to check out they tacked on some flea and tick prevention which I had not asked for . Overall experience was great . Friendly staff and doctor.

Panda Wellness Center Introduce

For pet owners in the Houston, Texas area, particularly near Kieth Harrow Boulevard, Panda Wellness Center, located at 17012 Kieth Harrow Blvd, Houston, TX 77084, USA, serves as a local pet hospital within the "Pet Hospital" platform category. This introduction aims to provide potential local users with an objective overview of the clinic based on the available customer reviews, highlighting aspects of their environment, services, features, and any mentioned pricing or potential issues.

While specific details about the physical environment of Panda Wellness Center are not extensively described in the provided reviews, one positive aspect mentioned is the overall experience being "great" for one customer. This suggests a generally satisfactory setting for pet owners and their animals. However, there are no explicit mentions of the clinic's cleanliness, waiting areas, or examination rooms in the provided feedback. Potential customers may want to inquire directly about the clinic's facilities to gain a better understanding of the environment.

Panda Wellness Center offers a range of veterinary services, as indicated by the experiences shared in the reviews. One customer sought vaccinations for foster dogs on short notice and was able to secure a same-day appointment, highlighting the clinic's potential for accommodating urgent needs. The clinic recommended a specific package (Package C) that included rabies, bordetella, and DAPP vaccinations, along with a fecal exam and heartworm test. This suggests that Panda Wellness Center provides comprehensive preventative care services, including vaccinations and diagnostic testing for common pet health concerns.

The mention of a fecal exam and heartworm test indicates the clinic's capability to perform diagnostic procedures to assess a pet's internal health and screen for parasites. This is a crucial aspect of maintaining a pet's well-being. The subsequent issue with additional flea and tick prevention being added to the bill without explicit consent suggests that while they offer these preventative products, communication regarding charges could be improved.

The second review mentions years of prior positive experiences, with the customer bringing their own pets and even their brother's cats to Panda Wellness Center. This long-term patronage suggests that the clinic has, at least in the past, provided satisfactory care and built trust with some clients. However, the stark contrast of the recent "horrible" experience indicates potential inconsistencies in service quality.

Features of Panda Wellness Center, based on the reviews, include the ability to accommodate same-day appointments, which can be a significant benefit for pet owners with urgent needs. The availability of package deals for vaccinations and testing, as mentioned in the first review, could offer cost-effective options for routine preventative care. The initial positive experiences of a long-term customer suggest that the clinic may have had a reputation for good service in the past.

However, the negative experience described in the second review raises concerns about staff conduct and communication. The "rude" behavior of a male assistant when explaining prices and his dismissive attitude towards the customer's questions are significant drawbacks. The alleged rough handling of the dog ("began to drag my dog") is a serious concern for pet owners prioritizing gentle and respectful treatment of their animals. Furthermore, the difficulty in contacting the clinic after the visit ("calls won’t go through") and the lack of a callback after leaving a message indicate potential issues with their communication and follow-up procedures.

Regarding promotional information, the first reviewer mentioned receiving a quote of $115 for the vaccination package, fecal exam, and heartworm test, which they found to be the "best price" compared to other local clinics. This suggests that Panda Wellness Center may offer competitive pricing for certain services. However, the unexpected addition of flea and tick prevention at checkout, which increased the final cost, could be perceived negatively by some customers. No other specific promotions or discounts are mentioned in the provided reviews.

In conclusion, Panda Wellness Center in Houston, TX, has received mixed feedback from recent customers. While one reviewer praised the friendly staff, doctor, and the ability to secure a same-day appointment at a competitive price for preventative care, another long-term customer reported a significantly negative experience involving rude staff behavior, questionable animal handling, and poor communication. Potential local users should be aware of these contrasting experiences when considering Panda Wellness Center for their pet hospital needs. It may be beneficial to inquire about staff training, communication protocols, and billing practices before making an appointment. While the clinic offers some appealing features like same-day appointments and potentially competitive pricing for certain services, the reported issues with staff conduct and communication are important factors for pet owners to consider.

I have been taking my pets here for years, and would even bring my brothers cats. Today was horrible, because the male assistant was rude when explaining prices. When I tried to ask him a question because he was confusing me, he basically shut me up by over talking me. I asked if my dog could just be treated, he then asked for the leash and began to drag my dog. I then asked him to pick her up. That made me so nervous for my dog. When I got home I realized I needed to ask a question about the meds, and it seems that my calls won’t go through. I left a message requesting a call back and have not received one. I will not go back here. I will take my money and my pets to someone who appreciates and treats me and my dog better.

I have taken my kitty here twice so far and have had no bad experience! I had no trouble getting an appointment set up the same day and there was no wait time between. They are very gentle with my cat and always explain to me what they’re charging me for and what they recommend, they aren’t pushy on anything! My kitty was a little shy but they treated her well and I will keep coming back.

I've been taking my dog there for 2 years now. Dr. Orso and her team are very nice and caring. The clinic has plenty of space, allowing my dog to undergo a variety of exams with all the necessary resources. I highly recommend this clinic!
