Dr. Zinnanti has been our vet for a number of years. An old school, honest and caring veterinarian. He was compassionate and caring when we had to help our cat cross over and was honest when our puppy broke his leg, he could have easily charged us , done xrays, etc however he examined our puppy and sent us to the animal hospital as he feared that he may need surgery (thankfully that wasn't the case).

I cannot say enough good things about the Doctor and all the staff working in this office. They were kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. I was recommended by many people who have used them for years and I was not disappointed. Good people and a great veterinarian and amazing staff who were all wonderful and caring.

We had 3 dogs. They were large and medium size dogs. They lived til 14, 12 & 16. Doctor and Mrs. Z. were very nice. They were crying with us when the last 16 yr old went over the bridge. They took care of them since they were puppies. Then we adopted a senior girl. She was 6 1/2 she's almost 10 now. Since covid Dr.Z. comes out to speak to me to ask me questions then steps out to tell me what he finds. We can no longer go in the office since it's tiny. He's a 1 man show. I inquired about when you want to be with your dog when they cross over the rainbow bridge and Mrs. Z. was kind enough to tell me about a vet that will come to you that they respect. I wish they knew this vet when my other 3 were alive. It is so impersonal in a doctor's office. I think Mrs. Z. is largely misunderstood. She's abrupt but very knowledgeable. They are a very busy office and they try to get to everyone. After sitting and watching how much she does and the way some people speak to the front desk people I'd say she does a great job and getting things right seems to be her priority. I'll give her a pass on the rough exterior. She always does the right thing for the animals. Dr. Z. Cares. He's a small business. He doesn't have a lot of advanced equipment and will often refer you elsewhere then send the animals files via fax ahead. He's reasonably priced and will not insist on unnecessary treatments. We like them a lot.

I lost my dog in February and Dr Z was his vet for 14 years of his 16 years of life. My dog never had major health issues thru the years but at the end of my dog's life sadly no compassion from this office at all. I am so surprised. I called about the cremation and they gave me the info and took my dog there but basically dropping him off until I asked if I can spend a few mins with him. They said ok to that but when I asked where the Dr was so I can see him, they said he wasn't there. This was a Saturday and I was in between appointments as they call you in one by one from the car. I knew he was there and we ALL know the him and his rushy wife (everyone knows how she can be) LIVE there. Anyway, when it came time to pick up his ashes, his wife was rushing again for me to pay sign here etc. I again asked if Dr. Z was there and again was told no he was not. After leaving and driving off upset, I called the office and the younger girl answered and I told her how I felt about my experience and even after that no return phone call to say he was sorry about my loss. And for that, i would never recommend them. Zero compassion at a very emotional time. Tricia Gonzalez
