Their commitment to comprehensive care ensures that pets receive everything from preventive measures to diagnostics and treatment for various conditions. While specific details on every service are not provided in the reviews, based on the general offerings of a reputable animal hospital and the nature of the feedback, their services likely include:
- Preventive and Wellness Care: This is foundational to pet health. Services include routine physical examinations, age-appropriate vaccination protocols, and comprehensive parasite prevention and control (fleas, ticks, heartworms, intestinal parasites). The goal is to keep pets healthy and detect potential issues early.
- Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose health problems, the hospital would typically offer a range of diagnostic tools. This includes in-house laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging capabilities like radiography (X-rays) to visualize internal structures.

- Surgical Procedures: Common surgical services like spaying and neutering are standard. Depending on their facilities and veterinary expertise, they likely also perform various soft tissue surgeries. Patient safety, pain management, and careful monitoring during and after surgery are prioritized.
- Dental Care: Oral health is crucial for a pet's overall well-being. Services would typically include professional dental cleanings under anesthesia, extractions, and guidance on at-home dental care.
- Emergency and Urgent Care: While not a 24-hour emergency facility, the hospital would likely strive to accommodate urgent cases during business hours and provide guidance for after-hours emergencies or referrals to specialized emergency centers.
- Senior Pet Care: As pets age, their needs change. The hospital would offer specialized wellness plans and management for age-related conditions like arthritis, organ dysfunction, and cognitive decline.
- Nutritional Counseling: Advice on appropriate pet nutrition, including weight management and therapeutic diets for specific health conditions, is generally provided.
- Microchipping: Essential for pet identification and recovery, microchipping services are typically available to help reunite lost pets with their owners.
- Compassionate End-of-Life Care: The profound gratitude expressed by a client for the "support I’ve gotten from the staff...through some of the hardest situations" strongly suggests that the hospital provides empathetic and supportive end-of-life care, including quality-of-life discussions and euthanasia services.

Feb 03, 2025 · Breanna ShrewsburyI recently took my 7 month old kitten in for her booster shot and the vet noticed that my cat was missing her eye brows. Being that my kitten is very playful I proceeded to explain that recently my Sage had absconded my foundation brush... hence her tan paws... lol... along with q- tips, jewelery, hair ties, and more. The vet gave my Sage a clean bill of health and suggested I " Hide my Eyebrow Pencils" from my cat... lol.
May 17, 2025 · Amy MoreyEvery part of the experience of switching to them and being seen was so easy and nice. Leaps and bounds better than our last vet on every aspect. Great, easy to access office, the waiting room is spacious, friendly staff, quick in and out and reasonable prices. So happy I switched and wish I had sooner.
May 16, 2025 · Amber GalindoDr. Belair is absolutely fantastic!! Her entire staff is kind, knowledgeable, gentle, and talented. My pup loves coming to the office. Thank you for being friendly and professional! Highly recommend your practice!
May 18, 2025 · Stacey O'DonnellDr. Belair and her staff are wonderful. Knowledgeable and kind, they always go above and beyond to care for your four legged friends. Vet bills when you have 5 dogs can be a little crazy but they are affordable and never try to sell you on tests or things that you don't need. I highly recommend Pachaug Animal Hospital and Dr. Belair to anyone who wants top notch veterinary care for their four legged family member.
