  • Orthopedics: Specializing in advanced therapies for conditions affecting bones, joints, and muscles. This includes surgical interventions like CrCL (often referred to as ACL) surgeries such as TPLO, fracture repair, and other innovative devices to improve or conserve a pet's mobility following accidents, illness, or age-related conditions. Dr. Mark E. Sharp's team utilizes cutting-edge CT and MRI technologies to delve deeper into complex cases for precise diagnostics and tailored orthopedic interventions.

Promotional Information

As a specialty referral practice, Ozark Veterinary Specialty Care's promotional activities often differ from those of a general veterinary clinic. Their focus is less on broad-based client acquisition and more on building trust with primary care veterinarians and showcasing their advanced capabilities. Potential promotional elements include:

  • Referral Partnerships and Education: Actively engaging with and providing educational resources to primary care veterinarians in the Northwest Arkansas region, solidifying their role as a trusted referral partner for complex cases.
  • Showcasing Advanced Technology: Highlighting their state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment (CT, MRI, advanced ultrasound) through their website, professional presentations, or informational materials to demonstrate their superior capabilities.
  • Specialist Profiles: Featuring the expertise and qualifications of their board-certified veterinarians (like Dr. Sharp and Dr. Williams) to instill confidence in their specialized skills.
  • Success Stories/Testimonials: Publishing compelling client testimonials that detail positive outcomes for challenging cases, reinforcing their reputation as "lifesavers" for pets with complex needs.
  • Transparent Communication and Support for Referring Vets: Emphasizing their commitment to seamless communication and shared record-keeping with primary veterinarians, making the referral process smooth and effective.
  • Financial Options: While not a "promotion" in the traditional sense, information on financing options like CareCredit, which helps clients manage the costs of specialty veterinary care, is crucial and often highlighted.

Given its role as a specialty center, direct appointments are typically made after a formal referral from a primary veterinarian. For pet owners whose pets require specialized care or for primary veterinarians seeking a referral partner, contacting Ozark Veterinary Specialty Care at (479) 717-7085 or +1 479-717-7085 is the recommended first step. Their dedication to "high level of veterinary medical care" with a "personal touch" makes them an invaluable resource for complex pet health issues in the Springdale area.

I’ve worked with Dr Williams for many years on issues with my cats. My vets make formal referrals to his practice for special work requiring more of an internist than generalist. He is special. You may never need him, but if you do you can be assured you are in good hands.

I am thankful for Dr. Sharp and the staff for working our Great Dane Marley in. We have been trying to diagnose her yelping and crying out for two months. I called on Monday and they were able to schedule her for Wednesday (yesterday). Dr. Sharp consulted with us and suggested we do an MRI, my husband was reluctant but I am glad we did it. We did get a diagnosis that we were not expecting but I am glad we know what it is we are dealing with. Definitely worth the three hour drive for a diagnosis. Thank you Dr. Sharp and your amazing staff as well!!

They were phenomenal! They did great handling my dog. They helped carry him into the car after surgery (so thankful for that!) they answered every question I have had and got him in almost immediately when I thought he might've hurt himself post op. They have been nothing but helpful and have been very responsive, kind, and helpful when I've called with questions
