Overland Animal Hospital

Overland has been our family veterinary practice for over 10 years now. All of our pets have received exceedingly great care over the years, but I'm writing this review because of the outstanding way they cared for Toby, my 4-year-old English Cocker Spaniel. You see, Toby eats everything. At 10 months, he ate some river rocks that we had removed at Overland. Then, this past September, he ate a sock that got stuck inside him and had to be removed. Less than three weeks later, he was showing signs of another obstruction, and lo and behold, he needed another surgery. Two weeks after that, we had round 3, narrowly avoiding a third surgery within five weeks. At every step of the way, the doctors and staff at Overland were supportive, communicated quickly, and I knew what to expect in terms of cost for each exam and procedure. Their team went above and beyond to connect my wife and me with providers that could handle my dog's unique situation, and helped us to make informed decisions along the way. We never felt judged for repeat visits or for asking what may have been dumb questions. Toby is now a celebrity at Overland, and if he doesn't stop eating things he shouldn't, they're going to have name a wing of the hospital after him, but I still love him. Thank you, Overland, for loving him the same way I do.

I’ve been using Overland Pet Hospital for almost six years, when we first got our cat. I’ve boarded our cat a couple times when we travelled and have gone there for yearly checkups. Recently, I took my cat there for a real health concern. Their treatment confirmed my trust in their competence and care. They are very caring of their patients. They scheduled a visit on short notice and treated my cat very well. He’s on the mend and I’ll continue to use them.

My words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for Overland Pet Resort. The day before an upcoming trip I needed to board my cat Hugo-Dennis. I literally walked in the day before the needed dates and asked if they could help. The entire experience was incredibly stressful for me and all of the staff I interacted with helped ease that anxiety. I had a text line I could check up on him daily and I always received an immediate response with incredible detail. My pet report card was just so thoughtfully put together. I wish I had the names of all of the people who helped me as i would like to give them the shout out they deserve. Joanna helped begin my journey there and she was incredible handling my needs and all those coming in as I used up a bunch of time while other pets were coming and going. Highly professional, incredibly caring and the attention to detail is up to this Vet Tech's towering standards. Thank you all so very much. Hugo-Dennis says hello to all of his friends at Overland.

Overland has been such a blessing for us. My husband was admitted to the ICU and I have been staying with him. Our normal pet sitters were. It available and given our family circumstances, I couldn’t take the time to find a boarding facility. Thankfully, my stepmom was able to find Overland and they were more than happy to accommodate our pups on a second’s notice. I was able to view the pups over camera and see how much care was given to them. Thank you to the folks at the Pet Resort - you eased a concern during the most difficult time of my life.

Our dog Lavender is a nervous dog who is very unsure about people but loves to be around other dogs. We were so impressed with how the staff handled her special needs while she boarded at Overland for 3 days. Lavender was able to play and socialize with other dogs and warmed up to the staff quickly which says a lot about how kind and skilled the staff must be. Every time we looked on the live web cams she was out having fun with other dogs which made us feel better about leaving her for 3 days. We will definitely be bringing Lavender back for daycare and boarding and we are so grateful that we found such a great place to take her!
