My 6 lb, 3yr old dog was attacked by a pit bull and had a tear across her upper back area. Brought her to this emergency vet and possibly due to lack of sterile procedures, my dog's wound became infected and then necrotic. This occurred during her hospitalization. I asked them to do a culture and sensitivity of the wound to determine type of bacteria and best antibiotic but it was refused. It may have been MRSA and that would have been a problem for the clinic. Her paw where the IV was infiltrated and yet they still pushed IV meds through it. After more than $4000 in medical bills, my dog died and guess what... they charged over $150 to have her cremated and have her ashes returned to us. Oh, the last surgery was to remove part of my dog's tongue as it became necrotic on the tip from licking her paw which also had a wound that the clinic never noticed. Stay away from this place if you value your pet's life. I wish I could post before and after photos as it would amaze you.

Jan 04, 2025 · Donna Chenot-SmargonHad to bring in my 12y old cat, Romeo. He’s been acting weid these last few days, not eating and throwing up a lot. Had blood work and x-rays done and results came out fast, nothing serious, just an upset stomach and signs of arthritis on his hips with is normal due his age. Doctor and his crew were amazing. Thank you for working hard on a holiday weekend.
May 26, 2024 · Ana Claudia LouresI’ve used them twice they are not my main veterinarian for my pets but in urgent request or emergency situations they have been pretty helpful. The only thing I noticed is that they are not meticulous with what they do. I had to call multiple times for them to fix DOB and basic demographics because they didn’t do it the first time correctly. Also I called prior to going on a weekend as I know pricing is differ but when I end up showing up there always random fees in addition to the visit.
Jan 10, 2024 · Marco BetancourtOne of the better Vets I have visited. They have helped both my cats (Maui and Stitch). Now they are treating my dog (Goku) after he jumped out the driver window of my semi fracturing 2 ribs and breaking a 3rd.
Nov 14, 2024 · tina DoubledayDr. Barnett has come to the rescue for several of my dogs. I value his knowledge and trust his opinion. If you want an honest opinion, you are at the right place....if you are looking for someone to sugarcoat things for you, he is not your guy. As for all the negative reviews about cost of service and collection of money, I have to wonder what people expect when it comes to emergency veterinary services? I am sure their policies are in place due to the negligence of pet owners who agree to services and later don't have the funds to pay for them. I am not sure why you would have an issue with the staff collecting payment before the service is completed if you intend to pay anyway..... Long story short, this clinic and staff are wonderful!
