One reviewer expressed positive feedback, stating that "Osborne's always takes care of my fella, Bo! English bullies are known for allergies/ear problems so, fortunately, that's the majority of our visits. Thanks for being so caring with my 'little' prince!" This suggests that some pet owners have experienced compassionate and effective care for their animals, particularly in addressing specific health concerns like allergies and ear problems, which are common in certain breeds.
However, another review presents a deeply concerning and negative experience. This customer reported the death of their dog five hours after a neutering procedure. The review details allegations of a recommendation for an additional, non-urgent procedure (umbilical hernia removal) during the same sedation period, despite the dog being seven years old. The reviewer also claims that the veterinarian attributed the dog's breathing difficulties to his breed and age, suggesting this should have been a contraindication for the additional surgery. Furthermore, the review alleges the administration of unapproved wormer and a rabies vaccine despite the dog's vaccination being current and without the owner's consent.
It is important to consider both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a service provider. The positive review highlights a sense of care and attention to specific breed-related issues. Conversely, the negative review raises serious concerns about surgical recommendations, communication, and adherence to informed consent and appropriate medical protocols. This stark contrast in experiences underscores the importance of thorough research and open communication with any veterinary care provider.

Jan 07, 2025 · Amanda ChambersWe took our dog to be neutered and he died 5 hours later. I didn't pay much attention to the horror stories and now unfortunately I've experienced it myself and so has our family. We buried him this morning. Over confident doctor recommended another procedure umbilical hernia removal during the neutering sedation period. Then after he passed when I spoke to him he stated these dogs just have a hard time breathing and he was 7 years old. That's the reason he shouldn't have recommended the additional surgery. Also gave him unapproved wormer and rabies vaccine unapproved by us although his rabies vaccine was current.

Apr 18, 2025 · Rachelle Griffinthey let my cat die and never tried to save him , idc what they say. he was never hooked up on anything to be saved. he had real bad anxiety and they gave him those shots while in a full blown panic attack now i’m without my fur baby!
Apr 18, 2025 · Montana Dynak12 years is how long I've had my dog. 12 years I've made sure he was taken care of. I was told the sores he had were just skin tags and nothing to worry about...what a screw up they made. Come to find out, my dog has cancer and there WAS a surgery that possibly could've worked had someone actually put a little care and effort into their job. Now I have a dog that I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars on dying because someone could care less. This is also the ONLY vet I have taken my dog to that he ended up with kennel cough..after they allegedly gave him a kennel cough shot when I boarded him there.
