Welcome to Osage Veterinary Clinic
Osage Veterinary Clinic, located at 2700 SW Regional Airport Blvd, Bentonville, AR 72712, USA, stands as a dedicated pet hospital aiming to provide comprehensive veterinary care for beloved animal companions in the Bentonville community. With a focus on the well-being and health of pets, Osage Veterinary Clinic offers a broad spectrum of services designed to support pets through all stages of their lives.
Based on customer feedback, Osage Veterinary Clinic is described as a "very clean" and "nice facility." This suggests a commitment to maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. A clean and organized clinic contributes significantly to a positive experience, reducing stress for animals and providing peace of mind for owners. The facility is equipped to handle a variety of veterinary needs, from routine check-ups to more complex medical procedures, indicating a modern and functional setup.
Osage Veterinary Clinic offers a wide array of veterinary services, encompassing preventative, diagnostic, and treatment options. Their comprehensive approach ensures that pets receive holistic care. Key services include:
Wellness Care: Regular comprehensive wellness exams are a cornerstone of their practice. These exams are crucial for maintaining a pet's overall health and detecting potential medical issues before they become serious. They assess a pet's general body condition, examine eyes, ears, mouth, internal organs and systems, and skin.
Vaccinations: The clinic provides essential vaccinations for both canines (such as rabies and DAPP) and felines (rabies and FVRCP). They also offer non-core vaccines like leptospirosis, bordetella, and feline leukemia, tailoring vaccine schedules to each pet's age, breed, lifestyle, and environment.
Parasite Prevention and Control: Understanding the health risks parasites pose to pets and families, Osage Veterinary Clinic assists in developing year-round prevention routines. This includes annual tests for parasites through physical exams, fecal tests, and blood tests, even for pets on continuous prevention.
Dental Care: Recognizing that dental disease affects a significant percentage of pets, the clinic emphasizes the importance of regular oral care. Services include oral exams, teeth cleanings, and extractions to prevent painful and potentially serious illnesses.
Surgical Services: Osage Veterinary Clinic provides a wide range of basic surgical services. This includes routine procedures like spays and neuters, as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Their facility is equipped with modern anesthetic and monitoring technology to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Pre-surgical consultations are also offered to address any owner concerns.
Diagnostics: To aid in the diagnosis of various conditions, the clinic offers medical imaging services such as radiographs (X-rays) and ultrasound. These non-invasive tools help evaluate organs and bones, enabling early detection of conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Laboratory and Pharmacy Services: Having in-house capabilities for laboratory tests and a pharmacy allows for quicker diagnoses and immediate access to necessary medications, streamlining the treatment process.
Puppy and Kitten Care: For new pet owners, the clinic provides comprehensive care for young animals, including initial physical exams, vaccine schedule development, dietary discussions, and parasite prevention plans. They also advise on spaying/neutering and microchipping.
Senior Pet Care: As pets age, their healthcare needs evolve. The clinic offers specialized care for senior pets, addressing age-related health concerns and promoting a good quality of life.
Urgent Care: For pets experiencing sudden illnesses or injuries, Osage Veterinary Clinic is equipped to handle urgent care cases during hospital hours, subject to scheduling availability.
Pet Boarding: For pet owners needing a safe and comfortable place for their animals during their absence, Osage Veterinary Clinic provides boarding services. Their facility offers accommodations with personalized attention, regular exercise, and access to medical experts should any concerns arise during the stay.
End of Life Care: The clinic provides compassionate support and assistance during difficult times, including guidance on end-of-life care options.
Osage Veterinary Clinic emphasizes a "best-in-class care" approach, striving to provide high-quality medical attention for every animal. Their team of veterinarians and staff are dedicated to ensuring the well-being and health of pets. The clinic's philosophy seems to center on preventative medicine, aiming to keep pets healthy and detect issues early. They encourage regular comprehensive wellness exams as a critical part of a pet's healthcare routine, regardless of age or breed.
The clinic is located at 2700 SW Regional Airport Blvd, Bentonville, AR 72712, USA. They can be reached via phone at (479) 273-7717. Their official website likely provides more detailed information on services, their team, and potentially online appointment booking. Customer reviews offer a varied perspective on Osage Veterinary Clinic. One customer highly praised the facility and staff, noting that "Everyone was welcoming and it was very clean. It is a nice facility and we were happy with our first experience there." This review highlights positive initial impressions regarding the environment and the staff's welcoming demeanor.
However, another review presented a contrasting experience, stating, "Employees are very rude. You ask a question or to speak to a vet and you get attitude. So incredibly rude. I left. My dogs last day on Earth is not going to be there. We loved All Pets but Osage is closer to us. We should have never left. Taking our sweet dog to All Pets. It only feels right to take him to a kind and compassionate place." This feedback indicates a significant concern regarding staff professionalism and compassion, which can be critical for pet owners, particularly during sensitive situations. While the clinic aims for "compassionate veterinary care," this particular review suggests that the experience may vary for individuals. It underscores the importance of client-staff interaction in veterinary care, especially when dealing with the emotional aspects of pet health.
In summary, Osage Veterinary Clinic presents itself as a comprehensive pet hospital in Bentonville, AR, offering a broad range of medical and preventative services within a clean and well-equipped facility. Mar 10, 2025 · Kaitlyn FryarPoor management, employees are rude, I paid no attention to their bad reviews. Over charged numerous people, I paid no attention, I should have. Charged me 96 dollars for a shoulder wrap on a YORKIE. His front leg fell out of the wrap, I took him back the next morning and was told he doesn't need a wrap from another vet tech. So why was I charged? I called numerous times only to find out they are keeping my money with no apologies. Look at their complaints, they "apologize" then turn to blame the client. Poor business. I found another vet. UPDATE:! He has fluid on the lungs with a collapsed trachea and extremely high blood pressure and an enlarged heart!!He would have died if we stayed with Osage.
Oct 19, 2024 · jody swansonI took my senior girl here when I decided to switch vets. All the staff from the front to the vet and the vet's assistant treated my dog with kindness and compassion. Taking my dogs to the vet is always a stressful and anxiety inducing experience but the staff helped us feel comfortable and reassured. I cannot recommend Osage enough.
Jun 24, 2023 · Kirsten GibsonWe were customers at Osage from about 2005 to Nov. 14th 2024. When Dr. Austin was alive the clinic was friendly, compassionate, they knew our babies by name. Her love for animals reflected in the employees. Dr. Austin ❤️ little Lou. You can imagine how I felt having an appointment 11/14 which was an emergency, the clinic was more concerned about getting their freaking money vs. moving with urgency. We were established patients and have never not paid. They were slow to respond only to tell us to go to the hospital. We wasted precious time and had to put our 7 year old down the following day. I feel responsible because the last few times we’ve been in it had become a transactional relationship and haven’t seen the same vet twice and the staff, not friendly and frankly rude. Osage has turned into the opposite of Dr. Austin’s vision and we will not go back.
