We took our kitty Phobie today as a walk in. We suspected she was at her end. We saw Dr. Lori Jones, we had seen her once before about 2 years ago. Dr. Jones was so accommodating with answering our questions & giving us many options. We have had about 6 other fur babies that passed before our Phobie. Dr Jones gave us a wonderful option that no vet has ever shared before that 100% put our baby Phobie in a comfortable method of passing. Dr Jones is the most compassionate vet we have ever had. Thank you Dr Jones for all the love you showed our baby & ourselves. God Bless you & your staff. ❤️

While the provided reviews do not offer explicit descriptions of the physical facilities or amenities, the sentiment conveyed by customers strongly implies a supportive and accommodating **environment** at On Point Animal Hospital North. The ability to be a "walk-in" patient, as experienced by the owner of Phobie, suggests a flexible and responsive approach to patient intake, particularly for urgent or sensitive situations. A key aspect of their environment that receives high praise is the allowance for pet owners to "go back with our dog" during examinations and procedures. This transparency and inclusivity in the treatment room create a comforting and reassuring atmosphere for both the pet and the owner, fostering trust and reducing anxiety. This contrasts sharply with other clinics where such presence might be restricted. This policy indicates a commitment to an open and client-centered environment where pet owners can actively participate in their pet's care. The overall experience, particularly during difficult times like end-of-life care, suggests an atmosphere imbued with compassion and empathy, where both the animal and the grieving family are treated with respect and understanding. The positive interactions with staff, including the receptionist, contribute to a welcoming and reassuring overall environment.
As a comprehensive "Pet Hospital," On Point Animal Hospital North is expected to offer a broad spectrum of **services** to address various animal health needs. While the reviews specifically highlight their exceptional end-of-life care, this particular expertise likely stems from a foundation of robust general veterinary services. These would typically include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, and preventive care programs for pets of all ages. Diagnostic services, such as blood work, urinalysis, and imaging (X-rays), would be essential for accurate diagnoses. Medical treatments for various illnesses and conditions, surgical procedures, and potentially dental care would also fall within the scope of services provided by a facility of this nature. The experience with "Phobie" underscores their proficiency in sensitive areas, specifically in offering "a wonderful option that no vet has ever shared before that 100% put our baby Phobie in a comfortable method of passing." This indicates specialized knowledge and a commitment to humane and dignified euthanasia protocols. The fact that Dr. Lori Jones was able to provide "many options" and accommodate questions, even during a walk-in visit for an urgent situation, demonstrates a dedication to client education and personalized care. This holistic approach to pet health, from routine visits to the most challenging life stages, defines their service offerings.
The **features** that truly distinguish On Point Animal Hospital North, based on customer feedback, are overwhelmingly centered on the exceptional qualities of their staff, particularly Dr. Lori Jones. The recommendation to "highly recommend this place" by another client, specifically due to their allowance for owner presence during procedures, is a significant promotional point, as it addresses a common desire among pet owners. The detailed accounts of empathy, understanding, and providing unique, comforting solutions are far more effective than generic advertising. Future promotional efforts could strategically leverage these powerful stories, perhaps featuring excerpts from testimonials on their website or in local community outreach. Highlighting their expertise in compassionate end-of-life care, and their unique approach to ensuring pet comfort during passing, could be a key differentiator. Emphasizing their client-friendly policies, such as allowing owners in the back, would also appeal to a broad audience of pet owners. The readily available phone numbers, (843) 663-5300, are crucial for immediate contact and should be prominently displayed across all communication channels, inviting prospective clients to experience their highly-rated care firsthand. Dec 30, 2024 · Georgia KirkpatrickThe receptionist and our Veterinarian, Lori Jones treated our fur baby with great care and concern. I also appreciate them letting us go back with our dog. We had tried another place and they didn’t allow that. We highly recommend this place! Thank you again!
May 16, 2025 · Aha mccombsOnce again, our dogs needed medication, they didn't order. This place is a legit joke. Switching vets for sure. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Replying to you. I wasn't the one that came in and NO ONE screamed and yelled at your staff. We pick up his meds every month and always tell the front desk lady to order another one for the following month. This is a business problem, not an us problem. Your business is definitely not the right fit. Do better.
May 10, 2025 · Kendra DauerOn Point North has the best staff and medical personnel. We’ve lived here for 12 years after coming from the Annapolis Maryland area. Never thought we’d find the equivalent veterinary care for our babies. We did. The half hour trip to get there is worth every minute of it. A special thank you goes out to Nicole who helped set up a next day oral surgery appointment. Well done On Point.
Mar 03, 2025 · Dee BielakThey took me as an emergency because my regular vet was booked and my 14&1/2 year old cat had been in distress for 3 days. They took him right back and evaluated him. Sadly he was very ill with heart disease and the most humane logical option was to put him down. It was so hard and happened so fast but the staff went above and beyond and was so wonderful and caring. I highly recommend this practice.
