I recently took my dog to this vet to get treatment for canine compulsive disorder (long history of decreased quality of life due to shadow chasing, leaf chasing, and also negative reactivity to a wide variety of stimuli including people, other dogs, and even things such as airplanes). We came seeking medication to address these issues as our last resort, as I’ve tried every form of behavioral modification I know after extensive research for many years. Our experience at this vet was extremely negative. I do not feel like the veterinarian on staff was receptive of the issues I had to speak of. She told me that there were “holes in my story” with my previous vets, although I brought a different vet form that clearly states this dog was diagnosed with OCD in years prior. Ultimately, she did not think or understand that my dog’s OCD was negatively impacting his life although I thoroughly explained how it was. When asked for advice on what to do, the only thing she said was that he required active stimulation (exercise) for at least an hour a day and that he should just be on a farm. I had already explained to her that this is a hunting dog that gets 4 training sessions a day with wide open play on open lots with at least 2-3 hours of active training a day. I felt disrespected throughout our conversation and felt that she thought I was lying to her about his symptoms. Attached is a video that shows what I was explaining to her, and as you can see he is much more inclined to chase his shadow than train or even to play fetch, which he loves to do on cloudy days with no shadows. Why would I lie about my own dog’s symptoms? Why would I come back for further examinations after being told there are holes in my story about my dogs veterinary and medical history? Medication in the form of fluoxetine has been cited in veterinary journals to alleviate canine compulsive disorder, I did not see any form of consideration from the vet for this option during our conversation. I am extremely frustrated and feel disrespected that I did not receive any form of consideration for medication or other help, that I was suggested to be lying about my own pet, and that this dog needs to be on a farm?? He receives more care and attention than most do (at least 4 training sessions which span for about 2-3 hours total a day), so is the best option you have for me to give him to a farm or play with him for an hour a day? In my opinion, this is an unprofessional and uneducated approach to a serious veterinary issue.

Wonderful care for my pittie! The vet is highly knowledgeable and straightforward. Prices are very accessible, office is no-frills, very clean, and appointments are kept (no waiting!). They have never tried to upsell me any in-house products or kibble like at my previous vet/franchise. Shout out to Wesley for always being so kind, patient, and empathetic. My dog goes crazy for him every single time and the love is reciprocated - sorry for all the face licks ☀️🐶

I've used Dr. Green-Solomon for years. Always top notch care. We moved away 4 years ago and, against our better judgment, started using a local to us vet. HUGE mistake. Recently went back to someone we trust 100%, yes, Dr. Green-Solomon. She cares. Not only for your pets, but for you and your pocketbook too. She is interested in care for our family. We love her so much.

First time visiting here...Dr. Green Solomon is extremely cold hearted and unprofessional. She has absolutely no compassion or true care for animals whatsoever. She knowingly pulled a muscle in my dog’s leg. He couldn’t walk for months! 💔 He was so afraid and her energy was so negative and cold. The reason I’m here is to tell everyone that there is not sweet bone in this woman’s body. No comforting words, tone or anything. It was almost shocking how she handled me and my dog. I never even got a follow up call/check up to this day. Her assistant apologized as soon as she walked to the back and said she can be very rude at times. It’s unacceptable. As I was checking out I noticed that I had no idea what her name was.. She was so caught up in being rude she didn’t even introduce herself to me. Her response was: Why?...so you can report me? I said...no mam..I’m a new patient and you haven’t told me your name. She needs to hurry and retire as soon as she’s able.
