I can’t express in words how much I appreciate the professionalism and urgency this vet had for my dog when I brought her in after eating 300-450 vitamin D capsules. Due to their quick action, my dog is still alive and perfectly healthy as if nothing happened. Everyone I interacted with care deeply about their work and it shows. I called ASPCA poison control center first and they directed me here. They got her in immediately and induced vomiting only to find a glob of half digested capsule material. It was too late for pumping her stomach to be effective and needed to do dialysis so she could receive donor plasma. At this point it was past 10pm when the doctor would have gone home already. He stayed until 3am that night, and worked with poison control to find the best solution to save my dog. I give 5 stars to the veterinarian Dr. Fults, 5 stars to the vet techs, 5 stars to the front office staff, and 5 stars to the overall emergency pet care system starting with the poison control center. Everyone knew what to do and by all accounts my dog would have died or have severe kidney failure without this system. We’re going to be able to go play fetch at the big dog park on Saturday and a few days ago I wouldn’t have thought that was even remotely possible. Again, 1000 times thank you. You not only saved my dog’s life but enabled her to continue having a normal puppy life.

This vet will forever hold a very special place in my heart, I had brought my one year old puppy in for bloody diarrhea and vomiting weighing 6 pounds, and was told she had probably ate something she wasnt supposed too or etc. ( i was very distraught during the visit so I don’t remember everything ) they had wanted to hospitalize her but due to money it wasn’t something I could do, so I did get some medicine and bring her home that night. I was up most of the night with her and ended up falling asleep around 4:30am. I had woken up at 8am to her crying and stiff. I immediately rushed her back and had a vet tech waiting outside for me to get her. Once we got inside we were brought straight into a room and now hospitalization was necessary but now it would be up to 5k for the treatment she needed. Before I could even fill out my consent paperwork the doctor rushed back in and had let us know that she was getting ready to pass away and we needed to go back there with her. I’ve never been to such a caring, understanding and loving vet. They say there and explained everything to me before they did it. I wasn’t left asking questions as to what they just gave my dog or anything they actually walked me through everything. When having to do something as hard as this, this is the absolute best vet to do it at. Every single person there was just amazing. A very special thank you to one of the lady’s upfront who I believe wears eyeliner and colored hair. She’s the main person who helped me with everything no matter how distraught I was. Nonetheless, it is crucial for us to share Max's story with others. We hope it serves as a reminder of the importance of being vigilant about pet toys and recognizing subtle changes in your pet's behavior. Bringing our beloved dog, Max, home from Old Growth has been an emotional rollercoaster. Our ordeal began on a seemingly ordinary Thursday night, when we first visited Old Growth with Max due to his prolonged vomiting. Upon arrival, Max was triaged and appeared stable. The staff at Old Growth were in the midst of handling an emergency, so we waited patiently for three hours. During that time, the staff's friendliness shone through as they offered Max water and a potty pad. Since Max hadn't vomited during those hours and my husband needed to be up early, we decided to return home, planning to come back if Max's condition worsened. At 4:30 AM the following morning, Max's condition deteriorated rapidly. I rushed him back to Old Growth, and he was taken in immediately. The doctor on duty asked numerous questions about Max's health and habits, which helped her make preliminary findings. Confident in their care, I left Max with them. Later that morning, we received a call from the doctor. Max had a foreign object obstructing his bowels, requiring immediate surgery. Complicating matters, he had developed pneumonia, which extended his stay beyond what we had anticipated. This was a financial burden on our family, but Old Growth's dedication and care were invaluable. Tonight, Max is finally home, comfortably snuggled on my lap where he belongs. Our gratitude towards Old Growth cannot be overstated. Their professionalism and compassion made a difficult time more bearable. A Word of Caution I urge all pet owners to examine their dog toys carefully. Ensure they are safe, as this incident was entirely preventable. Just because a toy is sold at a pet store does not guarantee its safety for your pet. Be vigilant and prioritize your pet's well-being.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the kindness and care that this clinic showed my family and my sweet little baby when we came in suddenly in the middle of the night. Her vet was closed and they referred me here for emergency care, which made me nervous because it would be unfamiliar to both of us. My 18 year old poodle was struggling and declining very rapidly. From the first time we called, to the moment we left, every person working was calm, gentle, informative and so unbelievably kind. Given the state that I was in, I don’t remember anyone’s name, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this unexplainably hard process as graceful as it could be. Although I had many many years with my girl, my best friend, nothing can prepare you for losing a piece of your heart. Thank you a million times.

Yesterday i had to take my cat in because she needed an ultrasound and hospitalization. Not only were they able to get her in last minute when no one else could, she got to come home in just 24 hours. She didnt look scared or cold. She screamed happily when i picked her up. I commuted from west seattle to bring her here and it was worth it. The facility is beautiful. The staff is caring. The medical knowledge everyone holds is outstanding. I've been working in the vet field for over 11 years. This is the first place i would bring my pets to for any emergency needs. Thank you Old Growth.
