I wanted to try Oak View Animal Hospital based on their ratings to see for myself. First impressions in some cases are usually the last impression. I was impressed with how clean and professional when I was greeted by the front desk. The staff and the veterinarian Doctor were very professional and friendly towards my pet and myself. Gave us a very warm welcome answered all questions with detailed explanations. I will continue to bring my pet there with the expectations that the visit will be consistent big Thanks to the Team and Staff keep up the great work !

Absolutely STELLAR vet. The front of house staff is friendly and quick to help. The vet techs are knowledgeable and compassionate. Our vet is Dr. Buchanan, and I cannot give her enough praise. She explains everything thoroughly and is willing to listen to and respond to my questions and concerns. Treating my cat felt like a collaborative effort. When things looked grim she showed true empathy, was honest and compassionate, and went above and beyond to give us the best chance at a positive outcome. When things started to go well, she shared in our joy. She genuinely cares and it shows. I cannot recommend them enough.

I’ve heard great things about Oakview and I’m trying to like it here, especially with it not being too much of a drive. Our first visit was much better than today. My gs had an appointment this morning at 7:00 am with Dr. Robinson and once I arrived I was told that she didn’t work on Mondays and that they were having problems with their system. That was my cue to just leave, but I decided to stay because I was already there. My dog was seen by Dr. Whitfield and his assistant 30 minutes later. I received the vibe that he just wanted to get a payment and get me out the door. They were telling me that he was due for everything when he wasn’t and when I was trying to tell Dr. Whitfield what he wasn’t due for after looking in the pet portal and his past visit, he proceeds to ignore and talk over me. For one of the medication pills, the assistant told me that it was for “everything heart worm and flea/tick treatment.”Okay, so I paid my bill and I just felt the need to ask someone else and of course I would have needed to pay an additional $100 for flea and tick treatment. I understand that mistakes happen, but if you know you’re not sure about something look into it instead of risking giving out incorrect information. If it wasn’t for me asking, we would have left without him even getting everything that he needed. Thankfully, I was able to speak to the young woman and she gave me Zeus’s flea and tick treatment separately at a discounted rate. I inquired at the start of visit about treatment and prices and was given a total just to go completely over. It’s truly a job to find a genuine vet.

The staff at Oak View is very professional and the Drs are the best around. They welcome all of my questions and help me feel comfortable adjusting to new stages in his puppy progress. The facility looks great and my new puppy, Sir Brisket has been well taken care of and shown plenty of love during his routine visits and overnight stay. I’m so glad they’re close and accommodating, Sir Brisket and I appreciate them for being the best in the business!

Oak View has been our vet clinic for years. The vets and staff are very nice and informative. I had to say goodbye to my best friend Brutus seems like yesterday. The staff understood Brutus and I when I had to say gooboy for the last time. So thank you.💕
