Lovely folks. Other reviewers are correct to say it's pretty no-frills, unless you count the embossed greyhound medallion on the front door, but they run a tight ship here. My cat was ill with... something tummy related. They treated her quickly, gave the firmest diagnosis possible and filled a quick prescription and I was on the way without any fuss. They seem knowledgeable, friendly, experienced, and no-nonsense. Refreshing in a vet. I'll be coming back for sure, but hopefully not soon.

Dec 16, 2024 · Wade RedfearnThis will be our cat fourth visit here absolutely no problems. Could use a little remodeling.. Take your fur baby experience it for yourself. Let's keep them in business
Nov 23, 2024 · Burg B.Horrible experience. Everyone had very nasty and poor attitudes. The DR got nasty with me from the moment I stepped into the room. My appointment was at 3 and my pup didn’t get seen until after 4. Pretty sure I got charges for things that didn’t take place. I have a dentistry charge and all he did was glance at one side of my pups teeth and my pups not a biter and didn’t get aggressive with them one time and got man handled and muzzled. I literally had a good day until stepping into this dump filled with miserable old people still working..
Oct 24, 2024 · Noella LucasI've been going to Dr. Littlejohn for years (at least eight years), and he and his team have provided the most compassionate and thorough care for my cats throughout all this time. I am a dedicated and thorough pet owner who will do anything and spend any amount on my pets: O'Neal Animal Hospital is the standard when it comes to providing direct and thorough care, as well as ensuring appointments whenever I need one. Even if it is last minute, O'Neal will make sure that my cats are seen and express sincere concern for the wellbeing of my pets. In a field where surprise costs always seem to show up at the last minute, I will say with my whole chest that this is the only veterinarian where I have never felt taken advantage of. I always receive labs promptly and have always been provided a clear understanding of what the medical issues are. When my senior sphynx cat got a rare parasite, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that I got the correct medication that needed to be special ordered during the holiday season. And until that medicine came in (had to be delivered from Arizona), they provided me with the tools and anti-nausea medication to assist until it did. They saved my cat's life. I am baffled by any complaints about a lack of cleanliness, while the building might be older it is sanitary and well maintained. Not only that, but on all occasions Dr. Littlejohn has ALWAYS ensured that he will make time to see my pets without making me schedule out months in advance. He provides straightforward and clear diagnoses while still being affordable. And what vet are people going to where you don't have to wait in a waiting room for a period of time? Those places don't exist. Any wait times here have never exceeded what I've experienced anywhere else. I have gone to other much more expensive clinics all throughout Philadelphia, all of whom have charged me three times as much and given me no concrete diagnoses but a strong arming to bring my cats back for more unnecessary tests at astronomical costs. When I go to O'Neal, I am treated like an actual person and not a checkbook. O'Neal Animal Hospital serves the community with compassion and dignity; I am incredibly grateful for how well they've treated me and my pets. Here are just two of my precious kitties who receive very tender and thorough care from them. We're all very grateful.
Sep 23, 2024 · Jane-Rebecca CannarellaAwful experience - do not bring your pets here under any circumstances. He immediately scruffed my cat just to weigh him, and when I asked him to not hold my cat like that he got very defensive, started addressing me with an attitude, and told him that I was telling him how to do his job. I tried to explain to him that my cat doesn’t like being held like that and that I have vet med experience where we prioritize making the environment fear free and so I like that approach with my cat. I left before we even did anything for the appointment, and when I tried to explain what happened that was upsetting he talked over me and said “there’s the door”. Awful and would never ever recommend to anyone.
