They were wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and caring and really made both of my dogs feel comfortable! They didn't try to push other services on us and focused on why we were there, to treat our girl for an ear infection.. she was also put on a diet lol, which was expected. We would hiighly recommend them and will be bringing her back in a couple months to check on her weight.

They always treat my animals with so much care and love, whether it is a routine wellness exam or something more urgent. May 04, 2025 · Kristina JonesThe staff is absolutely AMAZING! They went completely out of their way to comfort my brother and his pup when she broke her leg. They were willing to work with us and explain everything we needed to know. Very warm and friendly.
Aug 02, 2023 · M KaosAs pet owners we have certain responsibility to take care of them. Love them, nurture them. Teach them and when they are not feeling well, we need to act upon it. I, however, have take in this poor guy back-and-forth to Norway vets. At least 3 times since December alone, at $250 a piece. For them to say consistently that it is anal gland issues and yeast. "Debris" in his ears, his eyes are okay all awile they are blood red at times. He needs to lose weight and he MAY have arthritis and his weight is aggravating it. However, only sent me home with spray for his feet, ear cleaner and 1 time an antibiotic because his anal gland we infected. On 2 occasions, they expressed his anal glands. He is constantly falling up the stairs. Having a hard time getting up on the couch, not having a lot of energy, doesn't even really want to play his favorite activity, which is throwing the balls and frisbee for him. He is constantly shivering, in which I just passed it off as he has very short fur. He has a bald spot on his tail, which was told because that's how he sits on it. EVERY time I tell them that this isn't him! Now I get home only to make him get off the couch to go outside. When I let him in he wasn't baring much weight on his rear legs. He was chewing on his feet and when I went to see what was wrong he growled at me. He has NEVER growled at me before! Again, told them about his feet, legs and hips. 5, yes 5 hours later and a HEFTY HEFTY ER bill ONLY to find out that he has hypothyroidism. They take a blood sample and they have a range from 0-5...... HIS WASNT EVEN AT 0!!! I am incredibly pissed off at the Norway Vet office BECAUSE HE EXHIBITED ALL THE CLASSIC SIGNS AND THEY KEPT BLOWING ME OFF!! I should have gone and taken him for a second opinion. And for that, I feel so guilty because this poor dog has been sick for about two years slowly declining, as time has gone on! However, the emergency VAT was awesome to us, except for us, waiting 5 hours. That was the only downfall. Everybody was really decent. I felt as though they listened. And we problem solved something that could have been totally avoided a few years ago, let alone in the last 6 months. So here are the classic symptoms of hypothyroidism in your dogs.Go with your gut feeling, and if you question anything, get a second opinion! Stay away from these money hungry incompetent people whom do not have a passion for finding the route but keeping their hand extended out! Hypothyroid dogs often have ear infections and show ear pain, redness, and odor. Hypothyroid dogs may also develop skin infections that may be itchy and result in sores on the body. Symptoms of hypothyroidism in dogs include fatigue, weight gain, excessive shedding, dull attitude, and the inability to tolerate the cold.
