I brought my 7½ year old St. Bernard, Sadie, to NWGA thinking she possibly had GVD, or a flipped stomach. To make it short, I left with a frame of a paw print after putting my baby Sadie to sleep. Dr. Edwards was so incredibly sweet, from the moment I broke down crying when she said the words cancer and heart failure to when she sat beside me and handed me tissues. She explained everything to me, after doing an ultrasound and finding a mass on Sadie's heart, she was honest about her prognosis and how she could give me more time with Sadie but Sadie was suffering. The staff was also so sweet, I felt okay ugly crying in front of them and I think each person told me how sorry they were. What got me the most was Dr. Edwards praying over Sadie and me and my mom as we said our final goodbyes. Yes, an emergency vet is expensive but if you have to go and you want your babies to be well cared for as well as yourself, I highly recommend this place.

I brought my kitty here after showing signs of pyometra, they got us in quickly and were so extremely kind and caring during the process. I was freaking out but they helped me weigh my options, reassured us, and gave my girl what she needed to get her through the night. She’s doing much better now that she’s gotten her procedure done and is getting back to her old self :) Overall, it was a very pleasant and commendable experience with wonderful, compassionate people!!!

So thankful for this place they were able to see/treat my Doberman Athena when our regular vet was closed. The staff was so friendly and informative. Nothing but good things to say. Will definitely be using this as my emergency vet in future.

My little sister went to this location on 12/28 to get help with our cat that had ingested some poison. The treatment portion of this visit was great. They provided my cat with the help he needed to get rid of the poison he ingested. I paid for bill for my sister. Like many Americans rn I am broke. I could not afford to let our cat stay overnight for treatment and I told the vet so. My little sister and mom were harassed many times over this decision. I had to make a tough call. I couldn’t afford to pay over 2000 for an emergency vet visit. But they kept asking my sister if she was sure about this decision multiple times. The vet who helped her even made a face at her. I understand that they were just doing their job but it is not cool to make people feel shame for declining a service they cannot afford. Especially when they already feel terrible for making a tough call. The cat is fine. We went to our family vet for further treatment. I had previously gone to this location with my dog who was having heart problems and he needed to be put down however after this experience I will seek other emergency vet clinics should my pets be in need of care. I am grateful for the care that my cat and dog received I am just disappointed in the negative attitude that was directed to my family members during such a terrible situation.

Last Saturday I had to take my true baby, Layla, 15 year old Chi-poo, to this ER vet. She had extreme bloating overnight. They informed us of all testing and costs. Dr Melissa Edward's was amazing. I wish she could be my regular vet. She was very thorough alongside the other vets in the building going over all the issues my baby was dealing with. My Layla had a tumor that was rupturing fluid/blood in her abdomen. Edward's was extremely compassionate and very helpful during this devastating time. I am thankful I came here in my emergency. My heart is broken, but having such an amazing person help not only my fur baby, but also us, was a blessing.

On what truly felt like a nightmare, the angels at this vet provided a blanket of warmth, patience & understanding & comfort. My 18 year old dachshund started having seizures and I knew that it was time for him to cross over the rainbow bridge. Me and my husband walked in and I couldn't even speak because my heart was shattered.. they immediately took us into a private room to be with my sweet boy & they explained the process so delicately & allowed us to have time to process everything. When we were ready, Dr. Norby came in and talked to us and loved on my boy with us. She explained what was going to happen and was so supportive through the entire process. They made me a little pawprint keepsake for my precious boy & are sending him to be cremated & will also be giving me a laser engraved set of pawprints. They will never know how much their kindness and compassion meant to me, losing a pet is never easy but my baby was by my side through every major milestone in my life and in my children's lives. Thank you so much!

I would never bring any of my pets here! Unfortunately my nieces cat was sick so we didn’t have much of a choice. It’s supposed to be an emergency veterinary clinic, we were there for three hours sitting and waiting for service due to the fact of trying to get the money sent so the bill could get paid. The Dr. would not do anything to help the cat till my niece could come up with $200 just for pain meds. Needless to say the procedure cost roughly $2000 and when finally got the money the Dr. was gone for the evening. These people are not pet friendly 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬
