Northside Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Peterson and his team at Northside have been apart of our family for years. They are our go to. This past week, we had our Foxxy in for what we thought was a painful paw, turns out it was something bigger. They were able to get her in quick and fix her quick. Dr. Peterson took such good care of her. I am so thankful that we are able to trust them with our fur baby.

I called with concerns over a kitten I recently adopted who I suspected had an upper respiratory infection and a wicked case of ear mites. They got us in within a matter of two hours. They were so gentle and caring with my lil baby girl. Kitty put up quite the fight when it came time to clean her ears out and she may have made it sound like they were torturing her but they most definitely were not. Due to her being a tiny kitty they took extra special care of her. One nurse even referred to her as 'spicy' which is quite fitting as Penelope had already earned the nickname 'spicy nugget' at home. Kitty must not have hated the experience too much because she never went and hid when we got home, instead she just wanted cuddles. That tells me a lot about the care she received from Northside Veterinary Hospital on Holton Rd. They even went above and beyond with the antibiotic prescription they gave me for Penelope which was already dosed out in simple to use syringes, allowing me to easily administer the medication to my spicy kitten. This will now be the only place I take any of my pets for medical care. They were beyond exceptional and I cannot even begin to express my appreciation for the staff here. Thank you so very much for the work you do that is nothing short of amazing!

Exceptional care. Northside vet goes above and beyond for our fur babies. I left for a while when I moved and never got as good of care as I did here. I grew up next door to Dr Eric and always remember animals being around.

The doctor (Dr. Eric Peterson DVM) that tended to Lily and Riley, is amazing! Northside Veterinary Hospital was able to help us to help our rescue pet, as well as advised how to take care of our 14 year old. My family left with hope, even though our Riley has Cancer in her mammary glands. We were given clear instructions on how to help our pets live their best life, and we even have follow up appointments. I can't wait to go back and start next steps. I also learned something I didn't know before. Having a pet spayed or neutered does more than just prevent a litter of tiny pets....it prevents cancer and other health issues. It is the best way to prevent discomfort later in their life! The receptionists were awesaliciouz, the lobby was very clean and pet friendly. We were seen on time, and treated very well from the minute we arrived. If you are looking for a great place to take your pet, whether they are a pet you've had 14 years, or a rescue pet you've only had a couple months, I highly recommend Northside Veterinary Hospital(Giles Rd) and Northside Veterinary Clinic(Holton Rd) for all your pet's needs!
