Northland Animal Hospital

Absolutely love the entire team here at Northland! They are so attentive, ready to help, and kind. They treat my pet like family and always make sure she has the best care. Two times this week I’ve had to pick up meds urgently at their office very close to close. They always were so helpful on the phone, made sure I was able to get there before close, and gave me options for pickup after close as well if I was going to be late. They answer any and all questions I’ve had every time I call. We discussed going to pet emergency and they made sure I had all the information I needed, walked me through the process, and gave me pamphlets of information to read to help ease my anxiety about going. They follow up on all my pets conditions and are really flexible to help address illnesses or concerns quickly. I always leave the office feeling confident about our treatment plan, and feel all my concerns and questions are addressed every time, especially when they send info home with me to help give me more information about her conditions.

I have nothing but good things to say about the entire team at Northland Animal Hospital. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. They may be slightly more expensive, but the are the gold standard in pet care and go above and beyond. It is the only place that I trust with my pups health and well being.

This is not a bargain vet. We have 3 dogs with varying care needs and they have been unparalleled in how they’ve looked after our pups. It doesn’t hurt that they’re very close and they’ve been very responsive to calls and requests to their petdesk app. I highly recommend Northland Animal Hospital if you’re in the area and looking for to batch care for your animals!

I am a new Rockford resident. I needed to update Vacs for my dog. Doggie play time and groomers require updated vacs, and as a responsible owner, I am quick to protect my loved pet and others. I paid over 90. In advance. That was the exam fee. I should have been tipped off by this. The exam was brief and cursory. My dog is very fit and healthy. I have no qualm with the staff or the Doc other than that the main goal seemed to be increasing the bill. The mark up on flea and tic meds was way too much in my opinion. I ended up spending 560.00. This did include 6 months of preventative meds. I was not forced to agree to each charge. I was worked. Again, no problem with the staff or Doc. They were doing as they were told. Simply a buyer beware. They got me. Just know and ask for a total before they actually do anything. I am a senior citizen. This kind of unexpected cost is painful.

We moved to Rockford and needed a vet. After searching we found northland! Thank goodness because my soul mate boxer “pookie” we found cancer. And they got all of it and the surgery was amazing he healed no issues. We also have a Frenchie and he needed to be fixed and we were scared and held off because frenchies and anesthesia don’t always have great outcomes. But he was getting snarky and needed it done. We took him in today, we got pre surgery meds so he’d be comfortable and the vet sent us a picture afterwards. They love our animals almost as much as we do! They’ve helped through so many scary situations and have been the greatest with our dogs! Especially bully breeds! I am so grateful for this vet! I will never go anywhere else! Lastly our dogs have super bad allergies and one his paws were swollen and painful. I am thankful for all the products they offered because they worked and continue to work! I’ve never felt pressured or guilted to purchase anything. They work with me and my budget always
