Dr. Bush is the best vet in town. He removed a fatty tumor off our golden retriever and did such a great job of informing us how he did after surgery, explaining healing process/after care and the stitches look great. He relieved a lot of our anxieties surrounding the surgery and we also appreciate the kind staff. Thank you for all that you do!

We’ve had great experiences with Dr. Bush for years. The staff went above and beyond recently, though. Our dog was really sick on a Friday close to closing time, but they agreed to see him. Because they treated his infection, he made a complete turnaround over the weekend and we avoided paying an arm and a leg at the animal ER.

I highly recommend Northgate Animal Hospital. Dr. Bush has been caring for my geriatric Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He correctly diagnosed her heart condition, and a year later, her kidney disfunction. Although he is very busy, Dr. Bush takes time with each patient. He called me on several occasions to explain test results. His techs are also very patient and understanding. Even the receptionist is cheerful and friendly! Whenever I called with an urgent need, they were able to fit me into the schedule. I cannot thank them enough for the care that they gave my precious dog.

Amazing people and amazing facility they talked me through everything and even called to let me know when she was out of surgery and how it went 10 out of 10!!

I'm not sure what rating to give... We have been clients of Dr. Bush for almost 5 years with two dogs and a cat. One dog and cat recently passed away. We got a new puppy that needed to be seen in 72 hours to keep the health guarantee (important for joint issues - these are crazy expensive if this happens) and they were not able to accommodate us. I suppose that speaks to how good they are. But the lady who answered the phone was completely uninterested in helping us even after I explained the situation. When we called back, spoke to a male vet tech who said they could see us but I’d either have to leave my puppy there all day or if I wanted to see a vet tech in person it would cost an extra $150 emergency fee. I declined. The tech then left a message not 5 minutes later saying they had an appointment the next day. The $150 fee was surprising and I wondered if Dr. Bush was aware his staff was doing that. I think Dr. Bush may be stepping back with Dr. Leon taking more of the day to day appointments. So perhaps that’s what happened.regardless, the experience was disappointing and we won’t be back.
