Northgate Animal Clinic

We have taken our pets to Northgate for years. We had a critically ill pup that was unable to walk and had been a patient since she was a puppy. On August 26 at 8:00 am I called told the person that answered the phone the situation. Gave her my name and my husband's name and she said I am sorry we do not have you in the computer. I then gave her pups name and she initially said she couldn't find any information and then said, yes I found her. I told her that she was almost 11 and had been a patient there and we couldn't stand to see her struggle breathing and so sick. She told me she didn't have any appointments until the 27th in the afternoon. I told her this was an emergency and could she please see about working her in. She puts me on hold and comes back to tell me that the doctor wasn't in yet and she would leave a note on his desk and call me back either way. As of 11:15 pm on the 27th still no call We finally found a vet that would see our sweet girl and they ended up putting her to sleep. Strange place, didn't know vet, but we didn't have a choice. Maybe they need to find someone that has compassion to at least return a call or better yet, help your patients from years ago during their time of despair.

I don’t know about the vet, he seemed very competent. His office staff however, are awful people and horrible representatives for anyone’s business. Not only did they me wrong information over three days. They actually laughed in my face while my dog was dying in my arms there. Yes, she was their patient. Then today I get a letter, that I can’t believe the vet actually wrote, telling me my sweet dog was no longer their patient. My dog actually died later that day.

This is Honey B, the kitty here. Stella is my dog sister and she told me about this place. How wonderful the staff is and the Vet was soooooo nice! Stella and I were even seen at the same time! They attentively listen to your concerns and, above all, show genuine compassion and affection towards both their clients and their pets. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary office to everyone in the area.
