Amazing service, staff, and Dr. I felt the price was reasonable for what they did. The Dr spent a great deal of time with me and my fur baby going above and beyond, and he is quite knowledgeable, but ‘dumbing it down’ for the common customer. I’m new here, but no matter where I end up living, I’m a customer for life.

Welcome to Northeast Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to the introduction of Northeast Veterinary Hospital, a dedicated pet hospital located at 4601 Hicone Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405, USA. As a crucial resource for local pet owners, Northeast Veterinary Hospital operates within the platform category of 'Pet Hospital,' providing essential services and potentially offering goods to support the health and well-being of your animal companions. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the hospital, drawing upon available information to give you an objective understanding of what they offer.
Northeast Veterinary Hospital is committed to delivering veterinary care to the Greensboro community. They can be contacted at (336) 375-0277 or via mobile phone at +1 336-375-0277. While specific details about the hospital's environment aren't explicitly available online, customer reviews offer valuable insights into the atmosphere and the quality of care provided.
Based on customer feedback, Northeast Veterinary Hospital appears to foster a positive and caring environment. One reviewer specifically mentioned the "amazing service, staff, and Dr.," highlighting the compassionate nature of the team. This suggests that the hospital prioritizes creating a comfortable and reassuring space for both pets and their owners. While visual details of the clinic's interior and facilities are not provided, the positive remarks about the staff contribute to an image of a welcoming and professional setting.
The services offered at Northeast Veterinary Hospital encompass a range of essential veterinary care. A recurring theme in the reviews is the quality of routine veterinary services. One long-term customer, despite a recent move, intends to remain a client, indicating satisfaction with the regular care provided. This likely includes services such as:
- Preventative care: This typically involves routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite control (flea, tick, and heartworm prevention), and nutritional counseling to ensure your pet's ongoing health.
- Wellness exams: Regular examinations are crucial for early detection of potential health issues and maintaining your pet's overall well-being.
- Vaccinations: Protecting your pet against common and potentially serious diseases through timely vaccinations is a cornerstone of preventative care.
- Parasite prevention: Offering medications and advice to protect your pet from internal and external parasites is essential for their comfort and health.
- Nutritional guidance: Providing recommendations on appropriate diets based on your pet's age, breed, and health status.
Beyond routine care, the expertise of the veterinarian at Northeast Veterinary Hospital is a significant feature. One reviewer specifically praised the doctor for spending a considerable amount of time with them and their pet, demonstrating a commitment to thoroughness and patient education. The reviewer also noted the doctor's ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable way, which is invaluable for pet owners seeking to be informed and involved in their pet's care. This suggests that the hospital prioritizes clear communication and building trust with clients.
However, one crucial point raised in the customer reviews concerns the availability of appointments for sick visits. One reviewer expressed frustration at the lack of available slots for urgent care, reporting being advised to seek emergency veterinary services instead, even for non-emergency situations. This suggests that while Northeast Veterinary Hospital excels in routine care, there might be limitations in accommodating same-day or short-notice appointments for illnesses. This is an important factor for local users to consider, particularly those with pets prone to sudden health issues.
Therefore, a key feature to note about Northeast Veterinary Hospital is their apparent strength in scheduled routine care and the dedication of their veterinarian and staff. The emphasis on thoroughness and clear communication is a significant advantage for pet owners seeking a strong partnership in their pet's health journey. However, potential limitations in appointment availability for acute illnesses should also be taken into account.
Regarding promotional information, none was explicitly available in the provided data. Therefore, an objective introduction must refrain from speculating on any current promotions or discounts the hospital might be offering. Local users are encouraged to contact Northeast Veterinary Hospital directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about any special offers or packages they may have.
In summary, Northeast Veterinary Hospital in Greensboro, NC, appears to be a pet hospital that prides itself on compassionate staff, a knowledgeable and communicative veterinarian, and high-quality routine veterinary care. The positive feedback regarding the service and the doctor's dedication suggests a commitment to the well-being of their animal patients. However, potential clients should be aware of the reported challenges in securing timely appointments for sick visits and consider this aspect when choosing a primary veterinary care provider. For routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care, Northeast Veterinary Hospital seems to be a reliable option based on the available customer feedback. It is recommended that local users contact the hospital directly to understand their current appointment policies and any specific services or goods they offer within their 'Pet Hospital' category.

Jan 11, 2023 · Ric WallaceThe staff here are amazing! Very compassionate and caring. However, there are no available appointments for sick visits (I was told there was nothing available for a FEW WEEKS)!!! I am always instructed to call an emergency vet instead. It seems to me that slots need to be saved for those sick visits so pet owners can avoid going to a costly emergency vet. If you are only need routine veterinary care, this is the place to go, but please consider their appt availability for sick visits.
Sep 26, 2024 · Whitney ReardonThis place truly excels at customer service! Not only do they take great care of the animals, they are also wildly helpful to us humans. Will continue coming here and highly recommend to all.
Dec 18, 2024 · e eGreat service, while not the cheapest worth the money to have your animal checked on. Great techs and Veterinarian.
Apr 23, 2025 · Alan SmithWe've brought our animals here since day one. All of the staff are so wonderful, treat our boys so well, and know us by name when we call. Dr. LaPierre cared for our old lady when we adopted her, helped us through all her medical issues, and gave us wonderful options when she passed away. Cannot say enough about how much we love taking our four legged family members here.
