I absolutely love North Wake for the staff and doctors. Dr W is the best. All the employees are very friendly and treat you with respect and compassion. Never have to wait days for an appointment especially if your cat or dog is sick. Absolutely recommend this hospital to everyone i know. I moved and have a good vet just down the street but i still drive the 25 mins to come here.

We’ve struggled finding a vet since moving to Wake Forest but I think we have finally found one! North Wake Animal Hospital has been so accommodating and more importantly, they are amazing with our anxious little guy! So patient, kind, and compassionate.

My dogs have been going to this vet for a number of years. As of late, we have been very disappointed. Most recently my English Bulldog had been dragging his leg, acting lathargic, and was having issues with loose stool. When we brought him in, they gave us a high price sheet with options for figuring out what was wrong with him, mainly focused on a "possible torn ACL" ... All BEFORE the vet had even performed an exam. They looked at his leg, but NEVER looked under his little tail. He has a tail pocket infection which is very common for this breed. They completely missed it--when I called to ask about it they informed me (in a very rude manner) that "They did a thorough exam, and there was no infection, and we must not have seen the vet examine under his tail." That same evening after inspecting him more closely, and a basic internet search- it's obvious.
