North Star Animal is a great place to take your pet. I truly appreciate and Recommend Overall the best place to take your pet for all their needs. Your pet is your Baby and being a Pet owner we wanna find a place for their pet to be taken care of without all the worries. I myself got a great feeling about the staff at North Star. They are warm, sensitive, passionate, caring, loyal about taking care of someone's Pet. It's hard all the way around, the owner's, the staff and the dog. We all have a job to do. I'm so glad that I found North Star for my Fur Baby. He's my heart ❤️. And I want the best for my family. The First day, we went into North Star Animal it felt like family. I can't say enough about the overwhelming feeling they gave me and my Fur-baby (Copper). He's a smart, well Behave, fun loving Fur-baby. I have been taking my dogs here ever since I moved to San Antonio back in 2021. Dr.Youssef is amazing! I love that everyone here is so friendly, and very eager to help. Last visit I took my dogs for a check up and Elizabeth was very helpful, she made my dogs and I feel very comfortable. Thank you for your continued hard work and for taking care of my babies

I recently had the joy of working with North Star Animal Hospital in San Antonio, TX, for the relocation of three beloved pets from Houston to Spain, and I cannot express enough how incredible the experience was! me and my mom brought our 4yr old dog here because she was bloated for 2 weeks, they check her up and what not, told us she has heart worms or a tumor then tells us the bill so my then my mom buys what she needs to help our precious baby girl which is a couple hundreds we then leave her there to get liposuction and get all the excess liquids out. We went at 11am and had to pick her back up at 3pm we get her she’s looking a bit better and skinnier we thank the vet or wtv then we drive home not even 35 min later we were going to walk her with the mom dog and she pees, lays down and has a stroke then passes away and it’s recorded from the backyard camera. We went back with our dead dog to see if we could get a crematory and one of the smart aliks said “we didn’t kill your dog“. thanks vet for the bills. Our sweet girl that passed away is on the right of the photo.

Super professional, knowledgeable and so affordable. This was our first visit with them but they will be our vet from now on. Thank you Dr. Yousef and Elizabeth for taking such good care of us!

We've been taking our 2 boys to NSAH since we got them in 2015. Both of them were just little pups. They've always treated our boys with kindness but I couldn't love NSAH more than I did a couple of days ago when we had to say good bye to our oldest boy Yoshi. He had to have surgery and unfortunately his prognosis was worse than anticipated. Dr. Youseff explained everything to us and was honest with all the options. Even when I asked the same questions a few times, he was very gentle with us and answered every question we had. They gave us time to go see our boy to say our good byes and even encouraged us to bring our other dog as well. The compassion every single person in the building showed us was phenomenal. They didn't rush us and checked on us a few times. They even allowed another family member to be with us as we let our boy go. For this I will forever be grateful to them. Thank you for taking care of our boy and treating us with respect.

I am so brokenhearted and upset. I took my cat in last month for diarrhea and throwing up. She also had bad teeth I knew would need to be extracted at some point but that’s NOT what I took her in for. The staff at North Star was fixated on getting her dental work done so I heeded their advice. I did not realize that they never actually looked into the reason I took her in the first place, they never looked into the diarrhea or the throwing up. Today my cat died. I will always wonder if they had looked into what I ACTUALLY took her in for if she would still be alive. I’m truly devastated.
