Clean facility and attentive staff. Immediate attention on arrival and fast check in/start of treatment for our pet. This is the highest level of health care provider I’ve ever come across. This level of service/professionalism doesn’t come cheap. Staff explained costs/treatment plan up front. Fortunately our pet is in full recovery mode after 24 hours of ER hospital treatment/observation.

They did a great job taking care of my Mr. Kitty while he had to have his cardiology exam. They let me come to the back with them through his entire procedure and had lots of Churu sticks on hand to help with his cooperation. They even stopped and let him have a break when he was getting stressed. Highly recommended this team here.

This place is phenomenal! We are new to Colorado Springs and had no idea where to go when our daughter’s dog took a turn for the worst last Sunday night. She had just turned 16. I’ve never seen staff and Dr. Hardcastle work so fast and efficiently. They kept her alive until Lesley could get there from Denver in time to say goodbye and hold her. They let me FaceTime with our daughter in the Uber so she could see what was going on and talk to her. We are forever grateful to everyone involved in Kevy’s end of life care. We highly recommend this emergency vet clinic. Professional, kind and caring people who made this difficult situation easier to bear. Thank you!

We brought our yellow/golden mix in 2 years ago at the age of 2 with a limp we were being super careful of. After 2 years of working with here 3 PRP injections (thank god for insurance) she’s back to playing fetch!!! These are amazing people!!

My cat Marble was in very poor condition upon arrival. She had a grave to guarded diagnosis with severe acute on chronic kidney failure and we knew that she did not have a great chance of survival. However, they gave us the option to try to help her because there was a possibility that she could also improve and be with us for months or slight chance of years. The staff and veterinarians in the ER took very good care of her and tried everything they could for her. She made strides with their excellent care and she was transferred to the hospitalist side and received amazing care with Dr. Purswell and her staff. The best part is that they were able to stabilize her and set her up for home care nutrition, meds and hydration and she was able to go home. Although she ended up having to be put to sleep a few days later, I believe that they all did everything in their power to give her and us more time until additional quality of life for any significant length of time. They answered my many questions and addressed all concerns. Although it was not the outcome that we were all hoping for and it was heart-breaking, we appreciate knowing that we did everything we could for her. Also, we all really needed that extra time to properly say goodbye. It was a huge shock to us because we were always told that she was healthy - even one month before that, there was no mention of any chronic kidney disease. After their interventions, she was at the point that she was feeling good, eating, drinking and giving her loving head rubs. The day she died, she was at home, walking around with a happy tail wagging and head rubbbing us and petting. She was eating treats and enjoying our company for hours in the lovely “goodbye room” at the hopsital. I know she had a good life and wasn’t suffering even at the end and that gives me peace. Thank you NSVRC! We had also seen Dr Salmon for cardiology a week before that and she was great as well! Many of the front desk staff were also helpful and compassionate. I will not hesitate to bring my other two cats there for specialty or emergency services if they need ever arises.
