I would not recommend this vet. The vet neglected both my pets that went there. Apparently they "progressed way to quickly" both pets passed when he was quote "on lunch" I wouldn't be surprised if he euthanized my dog and cat. We took them in the morning and by 4pm they where already gone. I checked up on my dog at 12:30pm they said he was fine, then checked in at 3:30pm and they said he was fine. Then the vet called us at 3:50pm and said that he had passed. I don't think the vet was actually watching him like they said they where and I'm 99% sure they neglected my pet.

Understanding the environment of a veterinary clinic is crucial for pet owners seeking care. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance, facilities, and equipment are not explicitly provided in the given information, it is typical for a Pet Hospital to maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure the safety and comfort of both pets and their owners. Such clinics usually feature examination rooms for consultations, treatment areas for various medical procedures, and potentially surgical suites for more complex interventions. Depending on the size and scope of the practice, there might also be separate areas for housing recovering animals and diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or ultrasound devices.
The services offered by a Pet Hospital like North Side Animal Clinic generally encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care. These typically include routine check-ups and wellness examinations, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, parasite prevention and control (such as fleas, ticks, and heartworms), dental care services to maintain oral health, and nutritional counseling to ensure pets receive appropriate diets. Furthermore, they often provide diagnostic services, including laboratory testing (blood work, urine analysis, etc.) and imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds) to help identify health issues. For illnesses and injuries, a Pet Hospital offers medical treatments, which may involve medication, fluid therapy, and supportive care. Surgical services, ranging from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more complex surgeries, are also commonly offered. In cases of emergencies, a Pet Hospital may provide urgent care services, although it's important to verify their specific emergency protocols and hours.
Features that might distinguish a Pet Hospital can vary. Some clinics may specialize in certain types of animals (e.g., small animals like dogs and cats, or exotic pets). Others might have a particular focus on specific areas of veterinary medicine, such as dermatology, cardiology, or ophthalmology. The experience and qualifications of the veterinary staff, including the veterinarians and veterinary technicians, are also significant features. A dedicated and compassionate team can greatly enhance the quality of care provided. Additionally, factors like appointment availability, communication practices, and the clinic's approach to patient care can be important considerations for pet owners.
Based on the provided customer reviews, it's important to present a balanced perspective. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the care received, alleging neglect and raising serious concerns about the circumstances surrounding the passing of two pets. This review suggests a lack of communication and attentiveness, which are critical aspects of veterinary service. It is vital for potential clients to consider such feedback and potentially seek further clarification or information.
In contrast, another review offers a positive experience, highlighting the caring nature of Dr. Boschen and the staff towards their pet. This customer expresses confidence in recommending North Side Animal Clinic, suggesting a positive and trustworthy relationship with the clinic. This positive feedback indicates that some pet owners have had satisfactory experiences with the care provided.
It is essential for individuals seeking veterinary care to consider all available information, including both positive and negative feedback, when making decisions about their pet's health. Visiting the clinic, if possible, and speaking with the staff can provide a better understanding of their environment, services, and approach to patient care. Asking about their protocols, emergency procedures, and the qualifications of their team can also be beneficial.
As promotional information is not explicitly provided, we can discuss general aspects of how a Pet Hospital might promote its services. This often includes maintaining a website or social media presence to share information about their services, team, and clinic hours. They might also offer introductory discounts for new clients or run seasonal promotions for specific services like vaccinations or dental cleanings. Building relationships with the local community through events or partnerships with animal shelters can also be a way to promote their services and build trust.
In summary, North Side Animal Clinic in Springfield, MO, as a Pet Hospital, likely offers a range of veterinary services aimed at maintaining and improving the health of pets. While one customer review raises serious concerns about the quality of care, another offers a positive perspective on the clinic's compassion and service. Feb 01, 2025 · Rowen RDr. Boschen and his staff always love our sweet Molly like their own. I would not hesitate to recommend North Side Animal Clinic to any animal lover whose fur babies need care.
Jan 28, 2024 · Dr. Richard B.Dr. Boschen is the best! He took the time to get to know all my pets so now when we go to the vets, they are not anxious. His diagnosis skills and petside manners make me feel that my dogs are going to get the best care in the most humane way. UPDATE: 4 years later still taking all my pets to him. Went through a difficult time with my beloved Lucy and he was with me every step of the way. He showed such compassion that was a great comfort while we said goodbye to her. I'll be forever grateful to him and his entire staff for that.
