These days it's quite difficult to find a veterinarian clinic that actually cares. And more importantly one you can trust. As someone who spent 12 yrs in the vet world as a technician in Arizona, I am extremely picky with who will handle my dog. Today I chose to have my dog's dental and masses removed because how comfortable this clinic has made the experience. Honestly the surgery experience was perfect from Nancy the tech to Dr.Markel's communication halfway through the surgery and the receptionist greetings. Nancy explained everything with humor and thoroughness. She was very kind with our baby from the morning till the afternoon hand off. Dr. could not be more professional and personable. Coming from someone who's been in private, emergency and county clinics I am impressed. You don't feel as if they are geared towards the revenue but geared towards helping animals. I miss seeing this type of compassion in clinics but extremely thankful to have found it at North Powers. Thank you

Currently very thankful for all of the staff at North Powers Animal Hospital. Especially Natalie, for being soooo patient with me even through my frustration and anxiety, she was kind and understanding even when I was not super kind myself. Rachel and Dr Markel were so caring and thorough with their exam and in explaining everything to me in a way that I would understand. They were even able to get me a referral to the internal medicine vet that we will need to go see next, allowing us to get a sooner appointment. Thank you, North Powers Animal Hospital for helping Wally get onto the road for recovery.

Great place!! Staff are so kind, compassionate and always make you feel like your dogs are their favorites! lol They see you on time and are very thorough with their exams! Highly recommend! They were amazing when our sweet dog Shiloh was hit by a car and they helped get her stable and ready to transfer to an emergency hospital. She unfortunately did not make it through the night but North Powers was SO sweet and caring and empathetic with us that night!

North Powers Animal Hospital is simply the best!! We had gone to a different vet for the first bit of having our dog and it was just fine. Not my favorite but not bad. We ended up coming here for a last min emergency appointment and ever since then have stayed in their care! Dr. Peters is amazing and I’ve felt nothing but kindness, understanding, and empathy from her! Our dog has had some major hiccups in the past year (a major surgery, eating an entire rotisserie chicken (lol), X-rays, etc) and they have been amazing with treating her and checking up after appointments as well. Not to mention the front desk staff is also so kind, warm, and welcoming. Our dog doesn’t love the vet but she’s already warmed up to all the staff here. ❤️ we will be lifelong patients here for sure!

When Dr. Welfare was in charge of the practice, it was great. He was such a competent and kind vet. We've been going here for years because it’s in our neighborhood, but I will never set foot in that place again. Dr. Kat Peters is the worst vet I have ever encountered. She can't perform an exam on a dog because he won't let her? (She still charged me full price, though!) Please. He doesn't bite, he squirms, but that's all. Maybe Sam doesn’t want her touching him because he senses something from her. Twice, I've been there and heard that he could not be examined. Guess what? Both of those times, Kat Peters was the vet. Coincidence? I don't think so. If Dr. Welfare were still there, I would highly recommend this place, but given the incompetence that currently exists, I wouldn't take a fish to this place. The front office staff are friendly, but once you get in the exam room, it takes a steep nose dive. Terrible. They talk down to you, making you feel stupid. I have a doctorate and I love my dog— I am neither incompetent or a bad dog owner. Dr Peters is the one who is incompetent
