The clinic fosters an environment where pets and their owners feel comfortable and well-cared for, emphasizing clear communication and attentive service.
The environment at North Miami Animal Hospital is characterized by its warm, welcoming, and distinctly family-oriented atmosphere. As a family-owned business, it naturally exudes a personal touch that larger, corporate clinics might lack. Clients are greeted with "greetings of a smile," creating an immediate sense of comfort and approachability. The presence of the owner's wife at the front counter, described as a "really nice lady," contributes to this friendly and accessible environment. This personal interaction can be particularly reassuring for pet owners, fostering a sense of trust and community. The clinic likely maintains a clean and organized space, designed to be comfortable for both pets and their owners during visits. The emphasis on individual attention, where the veterinarian "will take his time to explain everything to you," indicates a patient and unhurried environment, allowing pet owners to ask questions and fully understand their pet's condition and treatment options. The fact that the groomer can perform services like nail trims on a walk-in basis also points to an efficient yet accommodating setup, prioritizing client convenience.
North Miami Animal Hospital, as a 'Pet Hospital,' provides a dual focus on essential veterinary medical care and professional grooming services, offering a comprehensive solution for pet owners. Their service offerings include:
- Veterinary Medical Care:
- General Examinations and Wellness: While specific details are not provided, as a veterinary clinic, they would offer routine check-ups to assess overall pet health, vital signs, and provide preventative advice.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: The presence of a veterinarian, Dr. Cory, who is described as "really good with the animals" and takes his time to explain everything, indicates that they handle common pet illnesses, injuries, and health concerns. This would involve assessing symptoms, diagnosing conditions, and prescribing appropriate treatments or medications.
- Client Education: A strong emphasis is placed on explaining complex medical information clearly. Dr. Cory takes his time to ensure owners understand their pet's health. His wife also "more than gladly will try to help you" with questions if the veterinarian is not immediately available, highlighting a team approach to client support.
- Professional Pet Grooming:
- Nail Trims: Specifically mentioned as a service that can be done on a walk-in basis, indicating convenience for a common grooming need. The groomer is praised as "awesome" and doing a "really good job of grooming the animals."
- Comprehensive Grooming Services: While only nail trims are explicitly stated, the mention of "grooming the animals" generally implies a broader range of services such as bathing, brushing, de-shedding, hair cutting/styling (depending on the breed), ear cleaning, and possibly anal gland expression.
The combined offering of veterinary care and grooming under one roof provides significant convenience for pet owners, allowing them to address both health and aesthetic needs in a single, trusted location. This integrated approach reflects a holistic view of pet wellness.
Several key features make North Miami Animal Hospital a preferred choice for pet owners. The most prominent is its family-owned and operated nature. This cultivates a highly personalized approach to client and patient care, fostering strong, lasting relationships. The fact that Dr. Cory is the veterinarian and his wife handles the front counter and grooming means clients interact with a consistent and dedicated team who genuinely invest in the well-being of their pets. This family dynamic translates into a warm and trusting environment.
The expertise and patient demeanor of Dr. Cory are significant features. He is described as "really good with the animals" and takes "his time to explain everything to you." This ensures that pet owners receive thorough explanations and feel fully informed about their pet's health, rather than feeling rushed. His wife's role as an "awesome" groomer who does "a really good job" and her willingness to answer questions even when Dr. Cory isn't around further underscore the team's commitment to comprehensive service and client support.
Another strong feature is the convenience offered for certain services, like walk-in nail trims. This flexibility is highly appreciated by busy pet owners who need quick, efficient service for routine needs. The seamless integration of veterinary services with professional grooming under one roof adds another layer of convenience, streamlining pet care for busy families. The overall commitment to being friendly, attentive, and helpful, as evidenced by the "greetings of a smile" and willingness to "try to help you" with questions, defines their client-centric approach.
North Miami Animal Hospital's "promotional" efforts seem to rely heavily on its strong word-of-mouth reputation stemming from positive client experiences. The glowing reviews directly highlight the quality of their service, particularly the compassionate approach of Dr. Cory and the excellent grooming provided by his wife. The phrase "The absolute best!" and "I tell you it's hard for me to give any place a 5" from satisfied customers are powerful endorsements that attract new clients. This organic promotion is often more effective than traditional advertising, as it builds deep trust within the community.
The convenience of their integrated services (veterinary care and grooming) and the walk-in option for services like nail trims also act as key promotional points. For pet owners looking for a one-stop shop for their pet's health and aesthetic needs, this clinic presents a compelling option. While specific, time-limited promotional offers like discounts were not detailed, the value proposition is inherent in the personalized, high-quality care delivered by a trusted family business at what clients perceive as a friendly and accessible service point. Their readily available phone numbers, (918) 540-1700 and +1 918-540-1700, serve as the primary contact for prospective clients interested in experiencing their highly praised services firsthand.

Sep 10, 2023 · Marceline E. Yant PetersThis is a family own business. Cory, the veterinary is really good with the animals, and he will take his time to explain everything to you. His wife is the one who works the front counter right now. And she is a really nice lady and does a really good job of grooming the animals. And if you have questions and her husband's not around, she more than gladly will try to help you.
May 10, 2023 · Katie PraterI am very upset that the lady who answers the phone instructed me to clean my cats wound out with hydrogen peroxide. Upon doing a little research that can worsen damage to the wound and damage the surrounding tissue. It's instructed to never use hydrogen peroxide on your cat. You ma'am, should know better, and shouldn't be allowed to give recommendations. I will not be using this vet again.
