Everyone is super helpful and seem to genuinely care. North County just performed surgery on my dog to remove a mass and they made it much less stressful for me through the whole process. The place is clean, staff is friendly, and they’re very good at getting your appointments scheduled when it works best for you. 10/10 will be recommending to folks I know

One of the positive reviews highlights the helpfulness and genuine care of the staff, as well as their flexibility in scheduling appointments. This suggests a commitment to providing good customer service and accommodating clients' needs. The reviewer also specifically mentioned the cleanliness of the facility, which contributes to a positive overall experience.
However, another review presents a contrasting experience, pointing out inconsistencies in customer service from different veterinarians. This review described a situation where a veterinarian exhibited a lack of compassion and empathy, leading to a negative interaction with a dog that was wary of strangers. The reviewer noted that while previous experiences with other staff were positive, this particular encounter raised concerns about returning to the clinic. This feedback underscores the importance of consistent and compassionate communication and handling of animals, especially those who may be anxious or fearful.

Jan 08, 2025 · Jacob SharpI’ve taken my dog here a few times, and they were fine. They helped him with care those times. I took him in yesterday and the assistant was lovely and seemed to really know how to handle my dog. The vet who came in after showed a lot of attitude and literally zero compassion or empathy. She went straight to touching my dog for examination- and my dog got mad and snipped at her. She gave me the most judgmental look as if it were my fault my dog reacted that way. The overall experience wasn’t horrible by any means, but could definitely work on costumer service on the vets end. Dogs/animals need a little more time to warm up. I understand time crunches and being busy, but dogs like mine don’t easily trust strangers, so if you get bit by going straight for the examination without my dog warming up to you it’s not my fault if he nips at you. I warned at the beginning that he is suspicious of strangers. Anyways. 3 stars because I have had good experiences, but with a different vet. I’m not sure if I’ll come back. Already so stressful having to go in, in the first place.. so hopefully you understand and help your patients (animals) with more love and compassion next time.
Feb 05, 2025 · Allex BuckWould absolutely recommend to anyone who needs a vet. Everyone is so kind and helpful; always willing to answer any and all questions we have. Dr Lane & Amy were so awesome with Leonard. Our 11 month lab has needed some care the past month for one reason or another and North County vet has always been able to get us in quickly. Sometimes you really have to advocate for your animals, and after going to a few different vets we feel like we have finally found the right one that has Leonard’s health and well being as their priority :)
Nov 06, 2024 · Hang MaStephanie the manager was extremely unkind to my mother and my elderly dog who had an appointment today but refused to see us. We tried to explain that we accidentally went to the wrong vet at first and would be happy to sit and wait if a cancellation happens to show up. immediately she said to my mom you need to leave or we will call the cops. i wasn’t there but i won’t allow my mother to be disrespected like that for a routine vet visit — and my mom would have EASILY left if the employee kindly helped my mom find a different vet to go to.. our chihuahua is blind and can’t hear very well and has cancer, so it his care is extremely important to us.. our dog is family.. for the employee and MANAGER to be that disrespectful to my mother and sweet dog, I would recommend never ever taking your animals here if you care about them.
Dec 03, 2024 · jasmine smithWe had a last minute tough decision to put our dog down. We called NCAH and they made an immediate appointment for us. The comfort and sympathy they showed was amazing. A few days later we received a condolence card signed by the entire staff. Thank You!!!!
