Nona's Ark Animal Hospital

Nona's Ark is a great Animal Hospital. They're an independent family-owned Animal Hospital that prioritizes the best / most realistic care for its patients and in addition to the owners they have a great staff. I've been taking my two dogs here for about three years now, have never had any issues, and always get a full workup from Dr. Norton on each of my dogs when they go in. Most recently, they were able to see one of my dogs the same day I called after she got a small injury. They provided some light treatment and a plan moving forward which helped give me peace of mind. It's also nice walking into a place in Orlando where they know your name and your dogs. You and your pets are not just another number. I highly recommend Nona's Ark to other pet parents out there who are looking for quality care without being price-gouged.

Highly recommend Nona's Ark! My dog loves it here. He used to whine and shake at every other veterinary center we've been to. When we come here he is calm, lays down and loves all the staff! Everyone here has been wonderful to both me and my dog. My dog recently developed a chronic illness and Dr. Norton has been wonderful in helping me to learn how to manage his needs. Dan is so kind and helpful every time I bug them with med refills and a million questions. I definitely recommend this family owned practice!

So sick of people Taking advantage. You call and you can’t even get a price of a service they want you to come in and get an exam and do all this crap. You should have a list of how much you charge. I don’t think anyone should go here.

I was new to the area and tried out Nona's Ark. I had a pleasant enough experience with my Labrador and had worked out a plan for future treatment. In the appointment, Dr. Norton said they needed additional information about the specific medication, which would take a couple of days. A week later, I emailed asking for an update, no response. I sent another email a few days later, and I am still waiting for a response. I know they check their email, too, as during initial coordination, that is where I sent previous vet records, which Dan received. That was almost two months ago, and I still haven’t received any response. What made it even worse was that in the appointment, we covered how, in the next appointment, I would need to get medication refilled, which was running low, so it was relatively time-sensitive. The ghosting caused me unnecessary extra work to get my previous vet to assist with getting a refill with a 3rd party near me as my patience with Nona's Ark was not rewarded. I am very disappointed with the unprofessional ghosting. I have had no problems with the nearby animal clinic since then… Two stars as they were nice for the one appointment we had.

I've been taking my little Max here for a short time and I've had nothing but amazing treatment here! Dr. Norton truly cares for my Pom as if he is her own! He is up there in age so he has a lot of health issues, the way they care for him and act immediately to his health concerns are the way vets should. Yes the treatments and procedures are pricey BUT it's the best quality of healthcare for my furr baby and you cant put a price tag on that. They've referred me to amazing specialists for him, prescribed the best medications and I am so thankful for that. I will continue to be a customer of Nona's Ark even though I no longer live in Lake Nona because it's worth the drive for the best care for my Max!
