I took a sick chicken in for an office visit with Dr. Pat and would highly recommend her. She was kind, her prices are fair, she spent a lot of time explaining things, breaking down the treatment options, and gave me a list of prices so I could make a fair decision. I will not hesitate to take any of my flock to her again, in fact I may be more apt to take them to her than to "wait and see" with my chickens because her prices are so fair and the quality of care was so high. Our community and local chicken owners are very lucky to have Dr. Pat nearby, and I'm also going to bring my dog to her now too. Highly recommend!

As a Pet Hospital, Noah's Glen Animal Hospital likely offers a standard array of medical and surgical services expected from a veterinary practice. While specific details about the clinic's environment are not extensively described online, it is reasonable to assume the presence of essential facilities such as examination rooms for consultations, a treatment area for administering medications and performing minor procedures, and potentially a surgical suite for more complex operations. Given the positive mention of care for a sick chicken, it suggests the hospital is equipped to handle not just traditional pets like dogs and cats but also potentially avian or other less common animal species. The environment would likely be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization to ensure the safety and well-being of all animal patients.
The services offered at Noah's Glen Animal Hospital - Patricia Slanga, VMD, appear to be comprehensive, catering to a variety of animal health needs. Based on the positive review, Dr. Pat provides office visits and takes the time to thoroughly explain diagnoses and treatment options, even providing a breakdown of prices to facilitate informed decisions. This suggests a commitment to client communication and transparency in treatment planning. The willingness to treat a sick chicken indicates a potential openness to caring for animals beyond the typical canine and feline patients, which could be a significant feature for owners of poultry or other farm animals in the vicinity. It is also mentioned that the reviewer intends to bring their dog to Dr. Pat, implying that general pet care for common domestic animals is also provided.
Features of Noah's Glen Animal Hospital likely include the expertise and approach of Patricia Slanga, VMD. The positive feedback emphasizes her kindness, fair pricing, thorough explanations, and provision of cost breakdowns. The fact that a local chicken owner highly recommends Dr. Pat and intends to bring their dog indicates a broad scope of practice and a positive reputation within at least a segment of the community.
However, it is crucial to consider the negative feedback as well to maintain an objective perspective. One reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of upfront communication regarding charges for missed appointments and unclear pricing for recommended treatments. They also noted issues with appointment punctuality, stating that walk-in clients might receive priority, leading to waiting times. Mar 14, 2025 · Diane FI had to find another vet. She is not upfront or honest when charging you for missed appointments. I understand being charged but communicate it and don’t try to sneak it on the bill. Does not communicate prices well when I ask. I’m on a budget and do not have unlimited income for everything that’s “recommended”. She’s also not on time for appointments. Be prepared to wait if someone else comes in the door, they get priority.
Jan 13, 2025 · Kelly A.Dr. Pat is simply THE best! She’s helped us recently with our Holland lop bunny, Hershey, and our Pekin duck, Lilly. Dr. Pat is obviously super smart and always gives us everything we need (and nothing we don’t). We’re so fortunate to have Dr. Pat so close to home. Avian veterinarians are not easy to come by and we found the best! I love that Dr. Pat can operate her entire business herself; she does it her way and it works!
Jul 14, 2023 · Alexandra ShanerWonderful vet! Compassionate and caring, prices are good. Dr. Slanga is very smart and explains everything well. Our dog was very sick and she was so knowledgeable and helped us figure out the problem. She really knows her stuff. I’ve been to lots of vets over the years, she is my favorite.
Sep 20, 2024 · Jen DDr. Pat is the MOST WONDERFUL human being ever! She is Saint Francis reincarnated - animals of all sizes and temperaments just gravitate toward her and love her. She has gone above and beyond for my fur babies and is the most selfless person. She’s kind, compassionate, intelligent, and will do anything for an animal. I’ve reached out with pictures or in a panic and she either reassures me or gets us in immediately. She’s been there for emergencies or annual appointments, she’s reliable and realistic. We’ve been going to her almost 5 years now and there’s nobody else I would trust as much as her. Her prices are fair and humor is free, she’s the most intelligent and easiest person to talk to. The negative reviews (3 out of a million) are people who probably went to her private parking lot and used it to loiter. If you want a parking lot to hang out in go to Wawa. They aren’t customers or people that know her, just passer-byes attempting to use her private land because they think it’s convenient for them and got upset that she told them to leave. She’s an amazing person and anybody that knows her will agree she’s a superhuman! We love you Dr Pat!!
