THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The state of the office and exam rooms are horrible and I can't even imagine the state of the boarding area of the facility. I will never be able forget or forgive the care and lack of compassion we received from this Dr. and facility. This place should have been and still needs to be shut down. I hate that I have to rate this place 1 star because it deserves -5⭐️

Welcome to Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital

Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital, situated at 2205 N 21st St, Parsons, KS 67357, USA, serves as a local "Pet Hospital" dedicated to providing veterinary care for animals in the Parsons community. Pet owners can reach the hospital by phone at (620) 421-1600, which also serves as a mobile contact number (+1 620-421-1600), ensuring accessibility for inquiries and appointments.

As a facility operating within the "Pet Hospital" category, Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital aims to offer a range of services and goods to support the health and well-being of companion animals. The core mission of such an establishment is to diagnose, treat, and prevent animal diseases, while also educating pet owners on responsible pet care.

The environment at Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital presents a mixed picture based on client feedback. While specific details about the facility's layout or amenities are not available, one review explicitly describes the "state of the office and exam rooms are horrible" and expresses concern about the "state of the boarding area." This suggests that some clients have found the physical cleanliness and maintenance of the premises to be below expectations. A clean, hygienic, and well-maintained environment is generally considered fundamental for a healthcare facility, particularly a veterinary hospital, to ensure the health and safety of both animal patients and human visitors. Conversely, the positive reviews, while not detailing the physical space, imply that for some, the quality of veterinary care outweighs any perceived environmental shortcomings, or their experience with the physical premises was adequate.

Based on the typical offerings of a "Pet Hospital" and the nature of the reviews highlighting a capable veterinarian, Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital likely provides a range of essential veterinary services. These commonly include:

  • General Wellness and Preventive Care: This would encompass routine physical examinations, age-appropriate vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and preventive treatments for parasites such as fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal worms.

  • Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose various conditions, the hospital would likely utilize diagnostic tools such as in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis. Depending on their capabilities, they might also offer basic imaging like X-rays.

  • Veterinary Surgery: Common surgical procedures, including spaying and neutering, as well as minor soft tissue surgeries, would typically be performed. Patient safety during surgery, including appropriate anesthesia and monitoring, is a critical aspect of any veterinary hospital.

  • Dental Care: Services aimed at maintaining oral health, such as professional dental cleanings and potentially extractions, would be expected.

  • Pain Management: Providing protocols for managing acute and chronic pain to ensure comfort for pets during recovery or with ongoing conditions.

  • Nutritional Counseling: Offering advice on suitable diets for pets based on their age, breed, and specific health requirements.

  • Microchipping: A service for permanent identification of pets, increasing the chances of reunion if a pet gets lost.

  • Emergency and Urgent Care: While not necessarily a 24/7 emergency facility, pet hospitals typically handle urgent medical situations during their operational hours.

  • Boarding Services: As indicated by a review, boarding facilities are available, offering a place for pets to stay when their owners are away.

A prominent feature of Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital, as consistently highlighted in positive customer reviews, is the exceptional quality of care and compassion provided by Dr. Jordan. He is described as a "really great veterinarian" who is "kind, patient, and really good with the fur babies." This suggests that despite any perceived shortcomings in the physical facility, the professional medical care and empathetic interaction from the primary veterinarian are highly valued by many clients. Dr. Jordan's ability to "listen to what you have to say" and discuss "the care given/required in an easy to understand way" is a crucial aspect of effective veterinary practice, fostering trust and ensuring pet owners are well-informed. His rates for service are also noted as "fair," which, when combined with his compassionate approach, makes the hospital a desirable choice for those seeking both quality and affordability in pet healthcare. The willingness of clients to "recommend him to anyone looking to put their precious babies in capable and caring hands" further underscores the positive impact of his personal approach.

However, it is equally important to acknowledge the contrasting feature highlighted by other reviews: a significant concern about the "care and lack of compassion" from the facility as a whole, coupled with strong negative sentiments about the physical environment. This suggests that while individual practitioners like Dr. Jordan may provide excellent care, there may be inconsistencies in the overall facility management, staff conduct, or general operational standards that negatively impact the client experience for some. The strong language used, such as "THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!" and suggesting the place "needs to be shut down," indicates profound dissatisfaction that goes beyond minor inconveniences, potentially related to perceived systemic issues within the clinic's environment or overall service delivery.

Regarding promotional information, specific details about ongoing special offers or unique programs at Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital are not explicitly provided in the available customer reviews. However, typical promotional strategies employed by "Pet Hospitals" often include:

  • New Client Discounts: Incentives for first-time visitors, such as a reduced fee for an initial examination.

  • Wellness Packages: Bundled services for different life stages (e.g., puppy/kitten plans, senior pet wellness) that might offer cost savings.

  • Seasonal Health Campaigns: Promotions tied to specific health concerns, such as discounted dental cleanings during dental health awareness months or specials on parasite prevention products.

  • Online Pharmacy Benefits: Many modern veterinary hospitals partner with online pharmacies that might offer discounts on pet medications, food, and supplies, sometimes with loyalty programs.

While Dr. Jordan's "fair rates for service" can be considered a form of ongoing value proposition, prospective clients are encouraged to directly contact Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital at (620) 421-1600 to inquire about their full range of services, current pricing, any available promotions, and accepted payment methods. Given the conflicting reviews, a direct inquiry and perhaps a preliminary visit to assess the environment firsthand might be beneficial for potential clients to form their own objective opinion.

Soo standing out in front of this place and we had an appointment for 9 today, we get here and we are knocking at the door and no answer, it says open from 8-12 but I guess not on a Wednesday? We called and we heard the phone ring inside and no one.
