I'm extremely disappointed with my last experiences at this veterinary clinic. After being a loyal customer for over 15 years, my last two visits were utterly unacceptable. The blonde male doctor kept us waiting in the exam room for an unreasonable amount of time. When he finally arrived, he was rude and dismissive. He stated that we needed to wait for a technician to assist with holding my cat, a task I felt capable of doing myself. My cat is sweet and cooperative. The wait was excruciating, and when the doctor finally examined my cat, it was brief and lacking in thoroughness. He suggested blood work, stating he was "pretty sure" my cat had a heart murmur. When I asked for clarification because I didn't like hearing a professional say "pretty sure," he begrudgingly performed a second examination, confirming his initial suspicion by said, "yep, definitely a heart murder." The technician tried to cover for his incompetence by reassuring me is is a good doctor. I was further unsettled when the doctor handled my personal belongings without permission. Later, he and the technician took my cat out of my sight, leaving me feeling anxious and concerned. When I went to investigate, I was horrified by the way they were handling my pet. The technician's saw the concern on my face and her dismissive laughter only added to my distress. They had my pet twisted up awkwardly and laughing all weird. She made an unprofessional comment, "this isn't as bad as it looks." My cat is a sweetheart but he and I both felt uncomfortable about whatever that was. To make matters worse, the staff loudly shared my personal information in the lobby, showing a blatant disregard for confidentiality. My experience was heartbreaking, as I had previously held this clinic in high regard. The subpar treatment and blatant disrespect have led me to reevaluate my loyalty. Not only did I use this clinic for all of my pets but I used to highly recommend it to everyone. Additionally I've supported charities that use this vet. Moving forward I don't want any pet or family subjected to this kind of treatment, so will no longer support payment for any animal to go there.

Recent customer reviews present contrasting experiences at Noah's Ark Animal Clinic. One long-term customer expressed extreme disappointment with recent visits, citing issues such as extended wait times, rude and dismissive behavior from a blonde male doctor, a perceived lack of thoroughness in examination, mishandling of their pet, and a breach of confidentiality regarding personal information shared loudly in the lobby. This customer's experience led them to no longer recommend or support the clinic.
In contrast, another customer shared a positive experience with Dr. Black and her staff. They expressed gratitude for the excellent care their 5-month-old kitten, Peaches, received, including prompt scheduling for surgery to remove a large mass and a spay procedure. They also found the clinic's VetPlan for kittens/cats to be financially helpful. Their kitten is now resting, happy, and healthy.
Given these differing accounts, it appears that experiences at Noah's Ark Animal Clinic of Ft. Wright can vary. While one customer highlights significant concerns regarding the standard of care and professionalism, another praises the skill and compassion of a specific doctor and the availability of helpful financial plans. Local users may want to consider these perspectives when making decisions about their pet's veterinary care and potentially inquire further about the clinic's services and staff.

Mar 04, 2025 · KassieSo grateful for Dr. Black & her staff that took great care of my 5m old kitten Peaches. She had a large mass growth underneath her tongue, Dr. Black immediately let me know that she had availability the next day for surgery to remove it. As well as spaying her. The financial part of the experience was also so helpful with the VetPlan they have for all aged kittens/cats. She is home resting, happy and healthy.
Oct 03, 2024 · Hailee StoverI’ve had my dogs here for almost 10 years now. I just feel as if this place is not very professional & it’s constantly such a hassle to figure anything out or even simply speak to a vet. All the receptionists tell me is everything is a different department whether it’s medicine or in this case surgery and that there’s nothing they can do for me. I feel as if there’s never any kind of urgency for your clients & their pets in any way, shape or form. If I wasn’t locked into a contract with your well plan that has also not suited me very much justice lately then I would take my dogs elsewhere at this point. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of one is because there’s rare times there I feel people are a little more friendly but never very knowledgeable or seem to want to help in any way. It’s honestly ridiculous
Mar 15, 2025 · Kyle WilliamsTheir wait-list scheduling system worked well for us because it seemed the best way to allow for same day visits...most of our issues were "last minute". Also the system of opening up appointments based on vet availability based on Vet availability worked well. But more importantly, the knowledge of the Vets and Techs was great. They diagnosed a couple issues with our dog, Emme, that saved her life. And everyone seemed to really care about our pets.
Jan 23, 2025 · MarkTook my dog in for a dental extraction, drop off was 7am, no one was there besides two other people waiting to drop off their pets. When someone did show up we were told that the vet called in sick, which they knew the day before… none of us received a call, text, or email. Was not given an option to reschedule that morning, we were told that we would have to wait for a phone call. I understand vets get sick too but we should have received a call the day before. Instead my dog got worked up for a pointless vet visit, our time was wasted, and most importantly I don’t know when my dog will be treated.
