5 months ago, my 12-year old dog Grady tore his CCL. I knew nothing about this injury, so when my vet did x-rays and confirmed it was a full tear I was totally devastated as all I want for my dog in his senior years is to be able to enjoy playing outside and go for his walks, so to see him in such pain broke my heart. We opted to do TPLO surgery at his local vet, and did hydrotherapy with Ashley at NH Pet Rehab before and after his surgery. I was worried that as a senior dog he would struggle to overcome this injury. But, with the help of Ashley, Grady proved my worries wrong and has also even impressed his local vet with how far he has come so quickly. It seriously has made me so happy to see how comfortable and happy he is. Ashley is SO KIND and extremely informative and made the entire stressful process of TPLO surgery so much better! I would recommend her over and over to anyone in a similar situation! THANK YOU馃┓

Welcome to NH Pet Physical Rehabilitation Center

Located at 288 Lowell Rd, Hudson, NH 03051, USA, NH Pet Physical Rehabilitation Center stands as a specialized "Pet Hospital" focusing exclusively on helping animals regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. This center is not a traditional general veterinary practice, but rather a vital component of holistic pet care, providing crucial rehabilitative services often after injuries, surgeries, or for managing chronic conditions. Their mission is clearly reflected in the heartfelt testimonials from clients who have witnessed remarkable transformations in their beloved companions, emphasizing the profound impact of their specialized care.

The environment at NH Pet Physical Rehabilitation Center is specifically designed to facilitate healing and comfort for pets undergoing physical therapy. While not explicitly detailed in terms of aesthetics, a rehabilitation center of this nature prioritizes a calm, safe, and encouraging atmosphere. Facilities for hydrotherapy, such as an underwater treadmill, are typically clean and well-maintained to ensure hygiene and efficacy. The space is equipped with specialized tools and areas for various therapeutic exercises. More importantly, the human element of the environment is consistently highlighted as exceptional. The staff, particularly Ashley, is described as "SO KIND" and treats pets "like her own dog." This compassionate approach is paramount in rehabilitation, as pets, especially those in pain or recovering, require patience, gentle handling, and positive reinforcement. The dedication of the therapists to making pets "comfortable and happy" during their sessions creates a supportive and effective healing environment.

NH Pet Physical Rehabilitation Center offers a comprehensive range of specialized services aimed at restoring and enhancing pets' physical capabilities. Their core offerings include:

  • Hydrotherapy: This is a cornerstone service, particularly an aqua treadmill, which allows pets to exercise in a low-impact, supportive environment. It's incredibly effective for improving mobility, building strength, reducing pain, and increasing range of motion, especially beneficial for post-surgical recovery (like TPLO or ACL repair) and for managing conditions like arthritis.
  • Therapeutic Exercises: Customized exercise plans are developed to target specific muscle groups, improve balance, coordination, and strength. These exercises often involve specialized equipment and are tailored to each pet's unique needs and recovery goals.
  • Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation): This non-invasive treatment uses specific wavelengths of light to reduce pain and inflammation, accelerate tissue healing, and stimulate cellular repair. It's often used for post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and various injuries.
  • Massage Therapy: Promotes relaxation, reduces muscle tension, improves circulation, and can help alleviate pain.
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound: Uses sound waves to promote tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain in deep tissues.
  • E-Stim (Electrical Muscle Stimulation): Helps to alleviate pain, reduce muscle atrophy, and improve muscle function by stimulating muscle contractions.
These services are crucial for pets recovering from orthopedic surgeries (like CCL/ACL tears), neurological conditions, age-related mobility issues, and chronic pain management. They work in conjunction with the pet's primary veterinarian, often receiving referrals and providing progress reports to ensure integrated care.

The distinctive features of NH Pet Physical Rehabilitation Center revolve around its specialized focus and the exceptional individuals who provide the care. The testimonials vividly highlight the impact of individuals like Ashley, who is described as "AMAZING" and "extremely informative." Her ability to help a senior dog like Grady "overcome this injury" and impress even his local vet speaks volumes about her skill and dedication. The phrase "helped her recover from ACL surgery" and achieving "wonderful results" further underscores the effectiveness of their rehabilitation programs. The personalized attention is a major feature; each pet receives a customized treatment plan based on their specific injury, condition, and progress. The fact that the center makes the "entire stressful process of TPLO surgery so much better" emphasizes their compassionate approach to both the pet and the anxious owner. This high level of empathy, combined with professional expertise, differentiates their services. The focus on specific, measurable outcomes, such as improved mobility and reduced pain, and the ability to help senior pets regain their comfort and happiness, are key aspects that resonate deeply with clients. The team's knowledge of complex injuries like CCL tears and ACL surgeries positions them as experts in this niche field of veterinary medicine.

While explicit promotional offers are not detailed in the provided information, the center's strongest form of promotion comes directly from the overwhelming positive experiences of its clients. The enthusiastic recommendations, such as "I would recommend her over and over to anyone in a similar situation!" and "You are simply the best!", are invaluable. Promotional efforts for a specialized 'Pet Hospital' like this would likely include:

  • Word-of-Mouth Referrals: Given the high level of client satisfaction, referrals from satisfied pet owners and referring veterinarians would be a primary source of new clients.
  • Online Presence: A dedicated website (which they have, showing detailed services and team information) showcasing success stories, testimonials, and detailed descriptions of their rehabilitation modalities.
  • Packages and Consultations: The center offers an "Initial Rehabilitation Consultation" as well as "Pet Rehabilitation Packages" like "Hydrotherapy + Rehabilitation Session (10 sessions)" and "Hydrotherapy Treadmill Session (10 sessions)," with pricing available online. This transparent pricing structure and package deals encourage commitment to a full rehabilitation course.
  • Educational Content: Providing information about the benefits of pet physical rehabilitation for various conditions can educate pet owners and veterinarians, highlighting when their services are most beneficial.
  • Collaborations with General Practices: Building strong relationships with local veterinarians who can refer their patients for specialized rehabilitation.
Their phone number, (603) 879-0214 or +1 603-879-0214, is readily available for inquiries and scheduling consultations, emphasizing their accessibility. The positive client reviews serve as a powerful testament to the tangible improvements they bring to pets' lives.

I can鈥檛 thank Dr. Komma and Ashley enough. We decided to get an evaluation for our dog, Camo. Camo is 11 and has some global weakness. He has rehabbed so well and is acting more and more like a young version of himself. We are so grateful and rehab has been worth every penny.

Hannah and NH Pet Physical Rehab Ctr have been incredible. They took it slow so that Louie could get used to everything. They allowed us to be a part of his treatment plan, including his adopted sister Carlee. They were open to our comments and made us feel like family. Hannah鈥檚 knowledge and care are outstanding and we strongly recommend both Hannah and NH Pet Physical Rehab. She will care for your pet as much as you do.

Ashley Silva is a LIFE SAVER! When we brought our dog in he couldn鈥檛 even walk and just had had this major back surgery. In a few months she made his movements come back and now he is back to normal. We could never be thankful enough! 鉂わ笍
