This was my first visit to this emergency vet facility. I had two sick rabbits that I knew would have to be put down. They took them to get examined then told me it was a good decision to euthanize them. I agreed. I couldn't believe the cost of the bill. $600 to examine and euthanize 2 rabbits!! This would've cost about $180 through my vet. I'll be going the extra drive to go elsewhere, if I'm not dead from my husband finding out what I paid!

Nov 14, 2024 · kimmylou HooI adopted a dog a few months ago and wish I would have established with the Newberry vets right away. Unfortunately, our dog got sick really quickly this week and we rushed her over to the new Newberry emergency facility. They saw us right away and kept our dog overnight. Everyone there (especially Dr. Angela) loved on our dog as much as we did and made me feel very comfortable leaving her there overnight. The wonderful techs there got us in with the regular practice at NAHCC for the recommended follow-up a few days after discharge, since we did not have a primary vet yet and I was worried no one would get us in fast enough. The emergency visit and overnight stay were costly (to be expected for emergency care) but the follow-up visit at their office was so reasonably priced, even with X-rays. The techs were incredible and even clipped my little scared/nervous dog's nails when I requested it. Everywhere else has had a ton of trouble with nail clips on her, but they didn't have trouble at all. I am so happy I stumbled into this practice and will be bringing all of my other animals in for their annual visits. Thank you to all the staff - Kayla and I appreciate you 💗
Jun 10, 2023 · Kristen OliffI don't usually write reviews. But in this case, I really feel I need to. This place sucks. My wife and I have been together for over 25 years and have always had dogs in the house. We've also rescued several dogs. In that time, we've taken our pets to, Willow Mill, Valley Green, and the vet on Limekiln Rd. All great vets. When my son dropped off his two dogs a few months ago, I decided to take a chance on these people. Huge mistake. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and uncaring. They gave me 3 different estimates for the same dental cleaning. They gave me instructions over the phone for his cleaning, which I wrote down as they gave them to me. They then E-mailed my wife instructions. Totally different. When I took the other dog there to get her shots updated, I asked if they could trim her nails. They took her out and when she returned, her foot was bleeding. They had cut her back way too far. I could have given a crackhead $20 for those results. Our pets are family, and if you care about yours, take them elsewhere. I only gave them 1 star because they won't let you give them zero.
Aug 22, 2024 · Jamie GroveI can’t say enough wonderful things about Newberry! We have been with them for years, and they have always gone over and above to accommodate us and help our animals. We are experienced pet parents, and this is the best veterinary practice I have found in the area. You can trust them!!
Jan 02, 2025 · Lynda MerkatzHad all 3 dogs teeth cleaned. And for Dr Neubaum had a bump removed from the top of his head with a speedy recovery. NAHCC does Amazing work. Everyone at NAHCC is so helpful with all our dogs.. especially Rooney with his diabetes. I'm still struggling giving him his insulin injections. When he gives me a hard time giving the injection they let me go directly to their office & help me to succeed in giving that shot. I can't thank them all enough.
