We bought our dog a hydro package after her double TPLO and she recovered in record time. Now we're purchasing another package to help take off the weight she gained after surgery. The results are incredible and the staff is exceptional.

Welcome to Newberg Canine Rehab Center

Welcome to Newberg Canine Rehab Center, a dedicated pet hospital located at 2401 E Hancock St, Newberg, OR 97132, USA. As a specialized veterinary care provider within the broader category of Pet Hospitals, we focus on delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to enhance the health, well-being, and recovery of your beloved canine companions. Our commitment is to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment where pets can regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

At Newberg Canine Rehab Center, we understand the unique needs of dogs recovering from surgery, injury, or dealing with chronic conditions. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and designed to create a comfortable and stress-free atmosphere for your pet. While specific details about the physical environment aren't explicitly provided in the given information, you can expect a clean, safe, and well-maintained space tailored to the specific needs of canine rehabilitation therapies. This includes dedicated areas for hydrotherapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, and potentially other modalities, ensuring a focused and effective treatment experience.

Our core services revolve around advanced rehabilitation techniques aimed at promoting healing and restoring function. Based on the provided customer reviews, our key offerings include:

Hydrotherapy: This therapy involves the use of water to facilitate movement, reduce weight-bearing stress on joints, and improve cardiovascular health. The positive feedback from a customer whose dog recovered "in record time" after double TPLO surgery highlights the effectiveness of our hydrotherapy packages. It's also noted as a valuable tool for weight management in dogs, further showcasing its versatility.

Laser Therapy: This non-invasive treatment utilizes focused light to stimulate cellular activity, reduce pain and inflammation, and accelerate healing. The review mentioning laser therapy being used before hydrotherapy suggests a comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment, potentially maximizing the benefits for the patient.

Acupuncture: This ancient Chinese medical technique involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the nervous system, release endorphins, and promote healing. The introduction of acupuncture as part of a treatment plan for a Doxie mix with a back injury indicates our commitment to exploring various therapeutic options to address individual pet needs.

Beyond these specific services, as a comprehensive pet hospital specializing in rehabilitation, Newberg Canine Rehab Center likely offers a range of supporting services. These may include initial consultations and thorough assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, progress evaluations, and guidance on home exercise programs to ensure continued improvement. While not explicitly mentioned, it's reasonable to expect that our team collaborates closely with referring veterinarians to provide seamless and coordinated care for your pet.

One of the standout features of Newberg Canine Rehab Center, as consistently highlighted in the customer reviews, is our exceptional staff. The positive feedback emphasizes their dedication and hard work in facilitating the recovery and improvement of their patients. This suggests a team of experienced and compassionate professionals who are committed to providing individualized attention and support to each animal under their care. The mention of Jayne's excitement about each visit further underscores the positive and encouraging environment fostered by our team.

Another unique feature mentioned in the reviews is the presence of Jack & Jill, the "office cats/managers." While seemingly a small detail, this suggests a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the clinic. The presence of friendly animals can often help to create a more relaxed and less stressful environment for visiting pets and their owners.

Mid Oct 2018 my 11 year old Doxie mix injured her back from jumping off the couch. She could barely walk. We started hydrotherapy 2x a week and saw an immediate improvement after her first 'dip'. Then we started laser therapy before her swims. Today we started acupuncture. With all of their hard work and dedication Jayne is now able to walk and with each session continuing improve, she is excited about every visit. We also love seeing Jack & Jill, the office cats/managers.

We are so lucky to have this facility as a local resource, Michelle has helped two of my dogs and changed their lives. She worked with my Great Dane that was older and starting to have issues with his stability and strength in his back end and with a European Doberman that we had to amputate one of his hind legs. These were both slow processes, but without the water therapy, my dogs would have not had the quality of life that they did. Michelle is so kind, and her love for the animals shines every time I see her.

When our Boerboel sustained an injury, leaving him unable to walk on his left front leg, keeping him in a cast for two weeks, as our vet suggested, seemed like the wrong thing to do. Atrophy would set in and could cause further damage. We had never experienced this kind of thing before. Thankfully, my sister suggested rehab and I immediately thought of Newberg Canine Rehab. The experience has been life changing for us. Not only is our dog on the mend, but we learned so much from Michelle and Matt about dog anatomy. Baza loves his treatments as well. He bounds into their clinic, much more robust than he should, given his injury. He is a few weeks from complete healing and we couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Newberg Canine Rehab to anyone who loves their dog like we do. We are so grateful that we now have a relationship with them.

Staff is great. Provided excellent rehab for our Doxie who recently experienced a ruptured disk. The incremental care we have been receiving from the staff has been on point. Being able to be involved in his care while he is there is a nice experience. I couldn't recommend Newberg Canine Rehab Center enough.
