I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with a dog injury to set up an apt with Michelle. She has done an amazing job with my dogs partially torn ACL, he is back to running around and I'm so happy that we have been able to avoid putting him through surgery. She is does a great job at working with my dogs and they both LOVE going for their PT visits.

Welcome to New England Canine Rehab

Welcome to New England Canine Rehab, a dedicated pet hospital focused on providing top-tier rehabilitation and fitness services for your canine companions. Understanding the deep bond you share with your pets, we are committed to enhancing their health, well-being, and overall quality of life. As a specialized Pet Hospital, our platform offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to address a wide range of needs, from post-surgical recovery to athletic conditioning.

Our Environment: A Healing and Encouraging Space

At New England Canine Rehab, we believe that a comfortable and supportive environment is crucial for the healing process. Our facility is designed with your pet's comfort and safety in mind. You can expect a clean, spacious, and well-equipped setting where your dog will feel at ease. We understand that some pets may be anxious in new environments, and our team is trained to provide a calm and reassuring atmosphere. Our rehabilitation areas are fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring that your pet receives the best possible care in a secure setting. We also have dedicated spaces for different types of therapies, including a specialized area for hydrotherapy and open spaces for land-based exercises.

Our Comprehensive Services: Tailored to Your Pet's Needs

As a leading Pet Hospital specializing in rehabilitation, New England Canine Rehab offers a diverse range of services to cater to various conditions and goals:

  • Rehabilitation & Therapy: Following a thorough initial assessment, our experienced team develops a customized rehabilitation plan tailored to your dog's specific needs. This may include a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing and restore function. We work closely with your primary veterinarian or surgical team to ensure a seamless and effective recovery process.
  • Hydrotherapy: Our facility features a competition-sized indoor, heated pool, perfect for year-round aquatic therapy. Hydrotherapy provides a unique, low-impact environment for exercise, increasing joint range of motion, strengthening muscles through water resistance, and improving balance and proprioception. We offer assisted and unassisted swims, as well as specialized programs like dock diving and introductory swimming classes.
  • Laser Therapy: We utilize advanced laser therapy, a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to stimulate a photochemical response in damaged tissues. This therapy can effectively alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Fitness & Conditioning: Our fitness programs are designed to enhance your dog's strength, joint range of motion, muscle and ligament flexibility, balance, endurance, agility, and aid in weight management. Whether you have an athletic dog or one needing to improve their general fitness, we create tailored exercise plans to meet their individual abilities and your goals.
  • Foundation Training: We offer a variety of group classes focused on foundation training to foster positive behavioral development, build confidence, and improve socialization skills in your dog.
  • Performance Sports: For the active canine, our 90x90 turf grass arena hosts competition agility trials and multi-level classes, along with scheduled seminars and workshops to further enhance their athletic abilities.
  • Nosework/Enrichment Program: Through engaging searching games, our group classes aim to build your dog's confidence, providing a fun and stimulating activity for both competition and companionship.
  • Chiropractic & Acupuncture: We offer specialized chiropractic care and acupuncture services with our in-house certified practitioners or veterinarians, available by appointment to address specific musculoskeletal and neurological issues.
  • Massage Therapy: Our massage services involve focused and deliberate touches using various strokes to manipulate tissues, increase circulation, stimulate nerves, relieve muscle spasms, reduce stress, and improve overall body function.
  • Wheels & Bracing: We partner with leading providers like Walkin' Wheels and Eddie's Wheels to offer custom-fitted wheelchairs for dogs with mobility challenges. Additionally, we provide measurement and fitting services for custom braces through certified professionals.

Key Features That Set Us Apart

  • Customized Treatment Plans: Every dog is unique, and so are their rehabilitation needs. We pride ourselves on developing individualized plans based on a comprehensive evaluation and in collaboration with your referring veterinarian.
  • Experienced and Compassionate Team: Our team comprises certified and highly skilled professionals who are passionate about animal welfare and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: We are equipped with advanced technology and therapeutic tools, including an underwater treadmill, laser therapy units, and a spacious indoor pool, to facilitate optimal recovery and conditioning.
  • Holistic Approach: We believe in addressing the whole animal, considering not just the physical aspects but also their emotional well-being throughout the rehabilitation process.

I鈥檇 give a -1 if I could. Have call 4times in 3 days. No return call. Very unprofessional. I don鈥檛 recommend them if they can鈥檛 return a simple phone call. After note: Called me back 10 days later. Too late.
