Dr. Peterson was very considerate to our interests with how care would progress. She put together a comprehensive care plan that tailored our best interests and decisions. we are very pleased and happy that our friend is back on his feet and enjoying the full use of his injured leg with no pain. She had instituted her great team to assist when needed with utmost care and concern as well, making certain comfort was cared for during exam and associated administrations of care. Thank You!

Update 1/10/25: Well I didn't expect an update but here we are. Rather than owning up to the situation as outlined in my original review (which is below), New Berlin Animal Hospital decided to send me my cat's medical records and told me to go elsewhere. They did not apologize for anything, they just told me to take her elsewhere. A reminder that as my review has outlined, my review was purely about the negative treatment my cat received from grooming and not from the veterinarian as the veterinarian did not do the grooming, but nonetheless they told me to take my cat somewhere else for all of her care going forward. Original review: I'm extremely unhappy with my cat's latest experience here. We have been taking my cat to this facility since COVID and never had issues before until recently. We take my cat here for grooming monthly. The last visit she had in November my cat was in clear distress as she was vomiting in our house for days after the visit. It was clear that she was harmed by one of the groomers at the office. We explained this to the facility and told her to just clip her nails and trim a mat we found on the cat after the visit and not do anything else that would cause my cat distress. The groomers did not listen and my cat has bald spots on her and smelled like perfume. My cat is scared and I'm extremely upset as I did not authorize my cat to be left balding in areas and my mom explained multiple times to not shave my cat. I'm extremely upset.

Dr. Goertz was a pleasure to work with! She answered every question that we had for our kitten. She thoroughly explained everything to us and helped us to feel educated and comfortable with NBAH. We are pleased with our first experience and look forward to receiving wonderful care and love for our cat.

I will start out by saying we will no longer be using this location. We loved it here when we started coming here over 15 years ago off of recommendation from family (who has also since found a new vet)...but it has been going downhill for the past few years and today was the last straw. To Be clear there are several Vet techs who seem to really care about the animals, however that is not enough to keep our business. All we wanted was an appt for our 14 year old dying dog who has been coming to see you her whole life and was told there was nothing that could be done, no appts til February. Rediculous that you couldn't squeeze 15 min in for someone to look at her. I was told if we wanted to euthanize we could bring her in to do that but no time for a quality of life appt to help us make the right decision. We described our situation and were not met with much sensitivty, we were reminded that the receptionist had 6 other calls on hold, and even after explaining our situation the call ended with not an apology or condolences but, "Have a good day!"
