I’ve brought two of my dogs to this clinic with very critical conditions, and both times they’ve been treated with exceptional care and at a very fair price. The first time, I brought in my husky who I had just bought. Unfortunately, she was already very sick, and just two days later, her condition became extremely serious. She was only 6 months old, suffering from severe anemia she could barely stand or eat. The team here performed a blood transfusion and gave her the care and attention she needed. Thanks to them, she survived and recovered beautifully. The second time, I brought in another one of my dogs who had a tumor. I noticed the lump one day, and that very same day they gave me an appointment to examine her and run tests. Just two days later, she was already in surgery. They successfully removed the tumor, and now, almost 10 days into her recovery, everything is going perfectly Everyone here has been incredibly kind and genuinely caring with my dogs. I’m so thankful for the love and professionalism they’ve shown. Highly recommend this clinic!

Based on the information available, we want to highlight some of the experiences shared by our valued clients. One pet owner expressed immense gratitude for the exceptional care their two dogs received during critical conditions. In one instance, their young husky suffering from severe anemia received a life-saving blood transfusion and recovered fully thanks to the dedicated team. In another case, their dog with a tumor received prompt attention, including same-day examination and testing, followed by successful surgery just two days later. This client praised the kindness, genuine care, and professionalism of everyone at Neighborhood Veterinary Centers and highly recommends our clinic.

However, it is important to acknowledge all feedback. Another pet owner shared a deeply heartbreaking experience regarding the loss of their puppy. While expressing gratitude for the care received by another of their dogs at a different location of what we understand to be the same veterinary group, their experience at the Waller location was significantly different. They detailed concerns about the diagnostic process, communication, and the rapid decline of their puppy's health, ultimately leading to the puppy's passing. This review raises important questions about the consistency of care and communication, and the emotional impact on pet owners during difficult times. It underscores the importance of clear communication, thorough diagnostics, and empathetic support for pet owners facing challenging health issues with their animals.

It is crucial to consider all feedback when making decisions about your pet's care. While one client highlights the life-saving interventions and positive experiences, the other account presents serious concerns about the level of care and communication in a specific instance. We at Neighborhood Veterinary Centers are committed to continuous improvement and take all feedback seriously. We strive to provide the highest quality of care to every patient and compassionate support to their owners.

We understand that choosing the right veterinary care for your pet is a significant decision. I had to take a few days to gather my thoughts, and wrap my head around what is now my shattered reality. I brought my baby in, with hope and a prayer that she’d be helped and maybe she’d still be here today. She was a spitfire and picked a fight with a larger dog, and although Tini never whimpered I knew something was wrong once she stopped eating, started peeing excessively and shaking, she hadn’t pooped since this incident..I also noticed her ears, paws and body were cold… she’d look at me with her big eyes as if she were asking for me to help her. I brought her to NVC (Waller) crying and relayed all this to the Vet. They performed a parvo test- (although she hadn’t used the restroom in days) it also hurt her, she screamed the loudest scream I’ve ever heard. And an X-ray that determined she had broken a rib and constipation.(no obstruction) I trusted what I was told, and that she were being helped, I hoped and prayed she were being helped (despite my gut telling me different.) Im not rich but I would’ve given my own kidney if possible, if it meant saving her… The next day when she went poop it was black, and she seemed to be in worse pain (falling over, shaking). I called panicked and was assured that it were normal with a break and I could pick pain medicine up the next day… the next day never came… I watched her suffer and it will probably be one of the most horrific things I’ve ever experienced. This was a puppy that I had since birth, bottle fed and we were inseparable from the start. Tini waited till I got up to use the restroom before sitting up slightly to watch me leave and when I returned she took her last breath. I never understood people who were so broken over an animal before, but I do now… Tini was more than a Dog to me, she was my best-friend. She was like a child to me, a light at a once very dark tunnel. I did everything I was told to do, and if I knew she would suffer I would’ve made a difficult but humane decision….I could never replace her, or forget her, I’m left with so many questions and what if’s, and why’s? I’m in no way saying NVC is a bad place to bring a loved one, because they’ve saved another Dog of mine Ace, and for that I’ll forever be grateful. But I went from updates and calls with Ace (Nederland location) and nothing with Tini…. Im left wondering if a blood test were taken if she’d be here today. or if they had even taken a little more time assessing her, that maybe they would have caught the reason she’s no longer here now,😔 And she wouldn’t have suffered so bad. The entire night prior to her passing, I woke up to give her liquid calories, liquids…I was told to give her an enema which i had prior: But I knew i was losing her… I called the emergency line over and over and it would ring once and it’d hang up. I didn’t sleep at all that night, and as soon as the kids got up for school, I planned on bolting to the clinic….But that never happened… Tini, my best friend passed away 2 days after our Visit, and I so wish I had protested for her just a little more…this has been one of the most heart wrenching /devastating experiences of my life.

I haven’t owned a pet in a long time and when I scheduled my first appointment here I was a tad nervous, but as soon as I walked in it felt very welcoming as if I had been going there for years. The staff is very friendly. The doctor and nurses are really helpful and informative which is greatly appreciated! From Hugo and me, thank you very much!

I brought in my bobtail cat yesterday and they helped him with some antibiotics to fight an infection and it's only been a day and he's already doing so much better! The team here at the Waller NVC were so informative , helpful , effective and most importantly affordable! If anything happens to our cat we will certainly come back to this clinic and this clinic only! Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough good things about NEIGHBORHOOD Veterinary Centers! My senior dog was not doing well and the clinic was able to get me in that same day.
