Nederland Veterinary Hospital

We go to Nederland Veterinary Hospital mainly for help with our very large Great Pyrenees, in clipping his nails and dew claws. He doesn’t like us messing with them. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, very easy to work with, and confident. Trimming his nails is not an easy task! We are always reassured and feel we are in good hands or good ‘paws’!

First time w new vet Cory. He was awesome. Vet techs were amazing too. Will not go anywhere else!! Cedar was taken care of on his lunch hour. Reasonable cost. Great care!!! We are lucky to have him here in our little community. Cedar sends his love too..

My kitty injured his foot and was writhing on the ground in pain to the extent that I was worried something more serious might be going on. The team at Nederland Veterinary squeezed me in to their tight schedule to check him out. The diagnosis was a dislocated toe, which was put back in place. But we were concerned that there could be a fracture. The team at Nederland Vet administered an anti-inflammatory and followed up with a phone call early the next morning. Cecil is back to his happy self. I so appreciated their care, concern and kindness!

They are VERY compassionate people. I was very nervous about the appointment because I'm new to the area and know no one. I read reviews on this place before setting up an appointment. The veterinarian assistant and the veterinarian were so gentle with my little China. She's an old girl and is starting to have health issues. They took their time with me and her. They were up front with costs, which I appreciate. I recommend this hospital for all of your fur babies. Your fur babies will be in good hands.

Corey and the others doctors here are the very best I’ve EVER encountered at a veterinary clinic in my 68 years! They truly care about your pet and never rush you, even sitting on the floor to put your pet at ease and answer your questions while loving up your furry companion. They provide excellent care and I trust them completely. The reception and office staff are equally caring, kind and very efficient. Any time I take my beloved cat in to them I am confident we will both be taken care of in the absolute best way. The whole team is hands down the most excellent there is anywhere!! I am so grateful for the care and kindness they showed my Precious Pig Hamlet who required surgery for a mass removal! Gentle and kind and careful with him and the extras they did for his health his hooves, teeth, ear cleaning and all the love they gave him! If you are looking for exceptional care for your fur baby check this place out you will be so happy you did and you will get excellent care for your pet! This whole team is wonderful and kind and sensitive to the needs of your animal and you!! Very trustworthy!!

They saved my dog Cooper's life. I took my dog in for a dental cleaning and Cory found oral melanoma in his mouth. He did a fantastic job removing the tumor and together with the rest of the team took great care of Cooper and introduced me to a great oncologist, Brooke, who went over treatment options with me. Melanoma is an aggressive cancer, but Cooper is still happy, energetic and playful. He's still his old self. Thank you Cory, Nate, Lauren, and Brooke for saving my boy's life and giving me more time with him. I'm forever grateful for the extra time I have with him.
