Naticook Vet keeps my pets happy and healthy, while doing their best to save me money. They explain treatment options well and they are honest about what outcomes and prices to expect. When it comes time to pay, the front desk is ready to find rebates and other ways to save. The staff are so nice that my dog actually begs to go in anytime we drive by the office. One thing to be aware of is that the front desk and waiting areas are an open plan, so your pets are probably going to have encounters with other animals. Also, the plaza can be surprisingly busy at times, so that your pet may be dealing with strangers or cars or construction.

Pet owners can reach them by phone at (603) 670-2100 or mobile at +1 603-670-2100. This facility is highlighted by its commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care while also being mindful of client budgets, a factor frequently appreciated by pet owners.
The environment at Naticook Veterinary Hospital presents a unique characteristic in its design. According to customer feedback, the "front desk and waiting areas are an open plan, so your pets are probably going to have encounters with other animals." This open layout means that pets will likely interact with other animals during their visit, which can be an important consideration for owners of anxious or reactive pets. While this design encourages a more communal atmosphere, it also necessitates careful management by pet owners. Furthermore, the external environment is noted as potentially busy, with the plaza sometimes experiencing "strangers or cars or construction." This suggests that arrivals and departures may require extra vigilance from pet owners to ensure their pet's safety and comfort amidst potential distractions and noise. Despite these external factors, the internal atmosphere is consistently described as warm and welcoming. Clients report being "greeted with friendly smiles" and a "genuine concern for your pet’s well-being" from the moment they walk through the door. The staff's demeanor appears to create a calming and positive experience for pets, so much so that one dog reportedly "begs to go in anytime we drive by the office," a remarkable testament to the positive internal environment created by the team.
As a Pet Hospital, Naticook Veterinary Hospital offers a full spectrum of veterinary services aimed at keeping pets healthy and happy. While specific details about every service are not provided, it is typical for such a facility to offer routine wellness examinations, which are crucial for preventive care and early detection of health issues. This would include comprehensive physical assessments, vaccinations tailored to the pet's lifestyle and risk factors, and parasite control programs. Diagnostic services are undoubtedly a cornerstone of their practice, encompassing blood tests, urinalysis, fecal examinations, and potentially imaging services like X-rays to accurately diagnose various conditions. Surgical capabilities are a standard offering for a Pet Hospital, ranging from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries or emergency procedures. Dental care, often including cleanings and extractions, is also a common and vital service. The emphasis on explaining "treatment options well" and being "honest about what outcomes and prices to expect" indicates a transparent approach to medical care, allowing pet owners to make informed decisions. This also suggests that a range of treatment modalities are offered, from basic to more advanced interventions, depending on the pet's needs and the owner's preferences and budget. The hospital's commitment to pet health extends to preventative measures and education, guiding owners on the best practices for their pet's long-term well-being.
The features that distinguish Naticook Veterinary Hospital are prominently highlighted in customer testimonials. One of the most praised features is their genuine care and compassion. Clients consistently describe the entire team, from "Dr. Whitebone to the vet techs and Lisa at the front desk," as "warm, welcoming, and dedicated to providing the best care possible." This empathetic approach extends beyond typical veterinary duties, as evidenced by Dr. Whitebone's thoughtful email wishing a speedy recovery to clients after a serious motorcycle accident. This personal touch demonstrates a remarkable level of client care and highlights the strong bonds forged between the hospital staff and pet owners. Another significant feature is their proactive approach to affordability. Naticook Vet "does their best to save me money" and the "front desk is ready to find rebates and other ways to save" when it comes time to pay. This commitment to helping clients manage costs, without compromising on care quality, is a highly valued aspect for many pet owners. Transparency is another key feature, as they "explain treatment options well and they are honest about what outcomes and prices to expect." This clear communication empowers pet owners and builds trust, ensuring they understand the proposed treatments and associated costs upfront. The positive behavior of pets, specifically the dog "begging to go in," speaks volumes about the gentle and reassuring handling methods employed by the staff, making vet visits less stressful for animals.
Promotional information for Naticook Veterinary Hospital, while not explicitly stated in the provided text as traditional advertisements, can be inferred from the strong positive reviews. The consistent praise for their compassionate care, transparency, and efforts to save money for clients serves as powerful word-of-mouth promotion. A veterinary hospital like Naticook would likely leverage these testimonials on their website, social media channels, and other marketing materials to attract new clients. They would likely highlight their dedicated team, particularly Dr. Whitebone, and the personal touches that set them apart. Emphasis on their comprehensive services, from routine check-ups to managing various health conditions, would also be a key promotional point. Furthermore, their unique approach to affordability, actively seeking rebates and cost-saving options, could be a significant draw for budget-conscious pet owners. The anecdote about the dog eager to visit the office could also be a compelling promotional element, showcasing the positive experience pets have at the clinic. Community involvement, such as sponsoring local pet events or offering educational workshops, might also be part of their promotional strategy to build stronger ties within Merrimack. Overall, the promotion of Naticook Veterinary Hospital would likely center on its reputation as a caring, honest, and high-quality veterinary provider that prioritizes both animal welfare and client satisfaction.

Apr 15, 2025 · Jeff HouleThe team at Naticook is truly exceptional! From Dr. Whitebone to the vet techs and Lisa at the front desk, everyone is warm, welcoming, and dedicated to providing the best care possible. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with friendly smiles and a genuine concern for your pet’s well-being. Beyond their outstanding veterinary care, the compassion they show their clients is remarkable. After my husband and I were in a serious motorcycle accident, Dr. Whitebone took the time to send us an email wishing us a speedy recovery—an incredibly thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us. We couldn't be happier with our choice to trust Naticook with our beloved fur baby. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet that truly cares!
Feb 23, 2025 · Laurie ConnellyJim has been our vet for many years and has seen us through various routine care, sicknesses and the loss of our dog. We are so thankful to him for always giving us the bottom line of necessary care and not trying to upsell for unnecessary treatments or tests. Dr. Whitebone’s staff is knowledgeable and professional! Our dog and 1/3 of our cats even enjoy coming to the vet!
Mar 12, 2025 · Janelle LThe Naticook team (doctors, techs, reception) have always been good to both my pups. Whenever my pups have been sick, they listen to my concerns and are not quick to run unnecessary tests before ruling out some other things first. My pup Myles went from being an anxious dog at the vet to complete excitement now when he walks through the door. They are amazing and I’m grateful to have them as our Vet.
Jan 04, 2025 · Stacey GagnonI initially switched to Naticook Veterinary Hospital in 2018 to be closer to home, and for years, I was satisfied with the care my pets received. However, in recent years, as the practice has grown significantly, I’ve noticed a shift in priorities—seemingly more focused on revenue than on personalised care. During an annual exam this past year, I felt the appointment was rushed and lacked thoroughness. Instead of addressing my pet’s current conditions in detail, more time was spent upselling medications and shots. This approach led to some critical oversights, for which no accountability was taken. Instead, the blame was shifted onto me. I was politely informed that if I wasn’t satisfied, they would happily send me my pet’s medical records so I could take my business elsewhere. At first, I questioned if my concerns were misplaced. However, after a month of reflection and seeking second opinions from another veterinary provider, I realised my frustrations were valid. I will not be returning to Naticook Veterinary Hospital and cannot, in good conscience, recommend their services to others.
