I recently had to take my dog to the Nashville Veterinary Emergency Hospital. He got his annual vaccines but ended up with an allergic reaction. His normal vet was not open so we rushed here. The whole experience was scary but this place made a bad situation easier. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, understanding, and helpful. The ladies at the front desk were incredible, the tech was amazing, and the vet took care of my fur baby. They saved my little guy. As we were waiting, I watched and listened to how they interacted with other people in person and over the phone; they always treated everyone with respect and compassion. They really do care for animals and understand the connection between pets and their families. The clinic itself was also nice, they have plenty of seating and beverages, clean bathrooms and areas, and adorable artwork all over. The most surprising part was the cost. I expected to buy a bundle for emergency pet care, but it was a lot less than I anticipated. I highly recommend this location if ever needed.

Mar 31, 2025 · JennyAble to see us very quickly and they really helped my two dogs! You could tell they loved dogs and loved what they do. They treated them well and were very affordable. We ended up getting 2 rabies shots and a check up and were happy with everything.
Apr 04, 2025 · Juno LAs a healthcare professional (but for humans) I have really high expectations for any kind of care. My cat (one of 3 , her name is Japan) recently started getting nausea and vomiting and I thought probably just some enteritis. Turns out she had a raging urine infection. Starting with the check in I wish I got the woman’s name but she was great. Quick registration, few questions, and then one of other young ladies came to get us. I assume she was a nurse but she was taking notes during the exam, talked about common options, and I felt so comfortable leaving Japan with her for some testing. Soon after I met Dr Kelly Clark (it was about 90 minutes, I did come in at what was likely shift change and they also said having some early labs would help. I’m an ER doc so it fits!). Doc came in, discussed options, and we had a plan. Yes, you have to leave a deposit. Yes it’s 1/2 of the estimate. They have care credit and other options. Then I met the next nurse she was also awesome (I was so worried, I forgot to get names) but everyone start to finish including checkout was great. No, it’s not cheap, but you get a lot of value and having this available isn’t free. Will hope to not need them but if I do, I will be back. Love you all! Even Japan was happy and is eating and drinking again
Mar 27, 2025 · D. Mar.We recently had to take our golden retriever, Cash, to Nashville Vet Specialists & Animal Emergency, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and kept us informed every step of the way. Cash spent 2.5 days there due to serious GI issues, and we always felt reassured knowing he was in excellent hands. One moment that truly stood out was when one of the vet techs called him “Cashie”—a name only we use for him. The second I heard that, I immediately felt at ease, knowing he was not just being cared for but genuinely loved. The team provided 24-hour monitoring, performed an ultrasound, and regularly called with updates, which meant so much to us. When it was time for discharge, they gave us clear and detailed instructions, making the transition home smooth and stress-free. Thanks to their expertise and compassion, Cash is feeling so much better! We are beyond grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend Nashville Vet Specialists & Animal Emergency to anyone in need of top-tier emergency vet care!
Mar 17, 2025 · Irina “Ira” HinesThis clinic was exceptional. Ginger is one of the first beautiful faces you’ll see! They saw us right away. Were very kind and efficient. Treated my dog perfectly with no baby talk!! Love it! The price was very reasonable for expert and emergency services! The doctor gave us options to explore for care going forward and issues to watch out for. I drove an hour to this clinic based on the Google reviews and am so happy I did!! Thank you ladies!!
