MuraBella Animal Hospital

My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to MuraBella Animal Hospital since we moved back to Florida in 2019. We have a Boxer, a Catahoula Leopard, and a rescued Black Labrador, and I wouldn’t trust any other veterinary team in the area to care for them. I’ve always been skeptical about other specialists, but if treatment can’t be done in-house, I rely completely on the referrals and recommendations from this team. Over the years, the staff here has become like family. They treat each of our pups with so much love and respect, knowing them all by name — and the pups know them by smell, which speaks volumes! When I have to leave them for the day, the team is incredibly communicative, keeping me updated and responding quickly to any questions or concerns. If I need an appointment on short notice, they always find a way to fit us in. Last year, we faced the heart-wrenching decision to amputate our Boxer’s leg. She’s 12 years old now, and I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old, so this was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family. Dr. Jay and the entire staff — Veronica, both Hannahs, Jami, and others — showed us such compassion and care throughout the procedure. They not only guided us through this uncharted territory but also helped us extend her time with us beyond the initial prognosis in that she is still with us today. Their dedication and support have been invaluable, and they continue to provide her with the best care possible. While our other two dogs are lower maintenance, they, too, only trust MuraBella Animal Hospital for their care. I truly believe the staff here love what they do — it’s evident in their consistency, compassion, and the relationships they build with every pet and owner. As long as we live in Florida, this will be the only veterinary practice we trust with our beloved pets.

I am so excited to have found a vet that listens that doesn’t judge and cares about their patience. I have cavalier, King Charles spaniels and have came in for many different reasons no matter what the reasons they’ve always created me with a happy face explain things thoroughly a few times there have been emergencies as one of my dogs, deciding to try to jump a fence and tore his paw pad and on a busy day, they took me anyway as an emergency. The doctor called the next day to see how he was doing. He tore his bandage off and they asked me to come back and redid it at no charge. I can call and ask questions and the doctor will call me back that day with having four dogs gets busy for me different needs and sometimes just to check up I would refer anybody here. I’m excited and happy to have found a place that listens and takes their time with me.

We are so grateful for the exceptional care that the entire staff at Murabella Animal Hospital gives to our boys - Hank, Buddy & Scout. They have been our vet for over 8 years. The staff is always so welcoming and genuinely caring. Dr. Jay always takes the time to listen to any concerns I have and explains everything while never making me feel rushed. You can tell she LOVES her job and our babies! The vet techs are absolutely wonderful as well! Veronica and Paige are the sweetest techs I have ever met and truly make us feel like family. They know our pets so well and love on them like their own. I know my babies are in good hands when they are at Murabella Animal Hospital. I also want to give praise to the office manager, Bowie. She keeps everything running smoothly and is always a joy to deal with. Thank you to the entire team for consistently providing the best care and for being so compassionate with my pets. We had a wonderful experience during our baby’s annual visit from the beginning with Bowie greeting us to Veronica coming in to meet our baby. Veronica’s warm and engaging manner put us and our baby at ease. She explained everything and was so kind. Dr. Jay came in to meet our baby and get her comfortable with her. They were all so great and caring. Veronica explained what they were going to do and went over the charges. Just a great experience!

I will never again bring my dog here!! After the last visit where I was very unsatisfied with waiting over two hours and my appointment being canceled prior to arriving, I was told I would have to bring my dog back for bloodwork and a booster shot because she has anxiety and was recommended to give her anxiety pills that I had to pay $20 for. Then upon bringing her back was charged an additional $180 and still not able to get everything she needed. They lie about the services they are doing, hidden fees and constantly try to sell you things like car salesman. And then because we left a bad review the first time we were told we could not bring our dog back unless we removed the review.

Murabella is a great vet! I’ve been there twice now for my large dog. The staff, including vet and techs, are wonderful! Very kind, friendly, and competent! The prices are also reasonable and they walk you through everything they’re recommending, with prices, before moving forward. Also, I appreciate being able to receive emailed receipts as well. After each appointment, they call the next day to see how my dog is doing, which is very nice & gives an opportunity to ask additional questions. They also provided via email, a full breakdown of services & medications for spay services ahead of time.
