I brought my 15 year old jack russell here to have her euthanized, the girl at the front desk was very sweet and they were very compassionate during the whole process for us. I’d had my dog since i was 9 and they let us walk out the back for more privacy. My sweet girl is no longer in pain thanks to this vet clinic. I appreciate their help and I’d take any of my animals here if they needed anything. Thank you all for your help and sincerities and gentleness with my old girl.

Welcome to Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc

Welcome to your local guide for pet care services. If you are a pet owner in or around Mt Orab, Ohio, and are looking for a compassionate and caring Pet Hospital, this introduction provides an overview of Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc based on the available customer reviews. Our aim is to present an objective summary of their environment, services, and features to help you decide if they are the right veterinary care provider for your beloved animals.

Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc is a Pet Hospital located at 463 W Main St, Mt Orab, OH 45154, USA. For inquiries or to schedule an appointment, you can contact them at (937) 444-2548 or their mobile number +1 937-444-2548. The customer reviews available online offer insights into the clinic's approach to patient care and its operational aspects.

One deeply moving review highlights the clinic's compassionate care during a very difficult time. A customer brought their 15-year-old Jack Russell Terrier to be euthanized and praised the front desk staff as "very sweet" and the clinic as "very compassionate throughout the whole process." The reviewer, who had their dog since childhood, appreciated the clinic allowing them to walk out the back for more privacy, showing sensitivity to their emotional needs. They expressed gratitude that their dog was no longer in pain thanks to the clinic and stated they would bring any of their animals there if needed, emphasizing their appreciation for the help, sincerity, and gentleness shown to their old dog. This review underscores the clinic's capacity for empathy and their considerate handling of end-of-life care.

Another review offers a different perspective, focusing on the general service and environment. This customer noted that "The staff are courteous and understanding with pets." This aligns with the positive sentiment regarding staff kindness from the first review. However, this reviewer also pointed out that the clinic is "QUITE busy," advising potential clients to plan for at least an hour's wait, even if they arrive on time for their appointment. They shared their personal experience of a 10:30 am appointment that resulted in them not leaving until approximately 11:45 am. While acknowledging that unforeseen circumstances can occur, this suggests that significant wait times might be a regular occurrence due to the clinic's busyness.

Furthermore, the second reviewer, a cat owner, offered a practical tip for those with skittish cats or cats that don't do well around dogs. They recommended that cat owners might find it better to wait with their cat in the car, as there were "several big dogs in attendance" in the waiting area. Given the long wait time, this led to a slight increase in tension for both owners and pets. This observation provides insight into the waiting area environment, suggesting it can be crowded with dogs, which might be stressful for some cats and their owners.

Based on these reviews, the environment at Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc appears to be one where the staff is courteous and compassionate. However, it can also be quite busy, potentially leading to longer-than-expected wait times. The waiting area may frequently have multiple dogs present, which is a factor for cat owners to consider.

While the reviews don't detail all the services offered, we can infer that as a Pet Hospital, Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc provides a range of essential veterinary care. The first review mentions euthanasia, a sensitive end-of-life service. The second review implies general appointments for pet care. Typically, a Pet Hospital would also offer services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and possibly surgical and dental procedures. The willingness to provide compassionate euthanasia suggests a comprehensive approach to animal well-being, including difficult times.

Features of Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc highlighted by the reviews include a courteous and understanding staff, a compassionate approach to end-of-life care, and a willingness to provide privacy during such times. However, a potential drawback to consider is the clinic's busyness, which may result in significant wait times for appointments. The presence of multiple dogs in the waiting area might also be a feature that affects the experience of cat owners.

There is no promotional information available for Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc in the provided text. Potential clients would need to contact the clinic directly to inquire about any special offers or pricing.

For local users in Mt Orab, OH, Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc appears to be a place where pets and their owners are treated with courtesy and compassion, especially during sensitive times like euthanasia. However, potential clients should be prepared for possible long wait times due to the clinic's apparent popularity. Cat owners, in particular, might want to consider the advice to wait in their car with their pet to avoid potential stress from a crowded waiting area with dogs.

To learn more about the specific services offered, their hours of operation, and current appointment availability, you can contact Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc directly at (937) 444-2548. Understanding their typical wait times and the layout of their waiting area might also be helpful for new clients.

In conclusion, Mt. Orab Veterinary Clinc in Mt Orab, OH, is characterized by a courteous and compassionate staff, particularly noted for their handling of sensitive situations like euthanasia. However, the clinic tends to be busy, which can lead to significant wait times for appointments. The waiting area often has multiple dogs present, which cat owners should be aware of. The staff are courteous and understanding with pets. Though it is QUITE busy so plan on being there at least an hour waiting for your appointment even if you arrived on time for your appointment time. It's understandable that things happened and I didn't ask about staffing that day but my appointment was for 1030am and I didn't leave until about 11 45 am. Also as a cat owner it may be better to sit with your cat in the car if your cat is skittish or doesn't do well with a bunch of dogs. There were several big dogs in attendance and since the wait time was so long tensions were up a smidge for owners and pets alike.

I took my cat to Mt.Orab vet clinic because she had some kind of upper respiratory issue going on and was coughing. Dr. Lodwick was great, he was thorough & explained everything bout how they could get these. Gave her meds and she’s back on the mend and feeling much better. 🙂

We had to put our sweet Zoey to sleep she was sixteen years old. She was declining fast and Dr Fox was so compassionate and helped with the decision. His assistant who helped she was wonderful with us to ease the pain of losing her. The whole staff there are great people and are so caring.

The girls here are awesome! This is a hardworking professional group that doesn't lack. I even had a lady tell me she wasn't the greatest on the sonogram machine. She could have done it anyway and gave sub par results, but she didn't. That's honesty and putting patients before business which is unheard of in this day and age. My hats off to you girls. Professional at its best.
