Dec 13, 2024 · KatWe have 2 Great Danes, a Saint Bernard and two cats- all of which are patients at MVS. I can’t begin to explain how often I have had to call after hours, the middle of the night and almost always on a weekend or last minute when something happens to go wrong or one of them get sick. They have ALWAYS been 100% there for our babies, always the same day sickness strikes or chaos ensues. They have double booked me, to ensure we were seen that same day when needed. The staff genuinely care not only about your animal, but you as well. They do everything they can to cut costs for clients, negotiate the “whats and why’s” when it comes to tests being ordered etc. I have seen a few comments of people complaining about the wait at times. I personally will sit in my truck with the AC running and wait, to ensure my fur baby is seen by staff who are always putting the animals best interest first. If I were to take my pet to a clinic with no wait time, I would be highly concerned and have more questions. They love on my pets as if they were their own, they remember small details and make it less scary for the animals. My female Dane had to have unexpected surgery recently, staff sent me photos of her in recovery. They did the same when my male Dane had his gastropexy procedure. Dr.Cheryl and Dr.Storm have both taken great care of our babies over the years, whether it be routine exams or emergent visits (which happens often with our house hippos) we highly recommend MVS.

Jan 26, 2025 · Brandy BlizzardOur 15-year-old cat developed pneumonia the weekend before Thanksgiving, when we were at our vacation cabin. They saw her first thing Monday morning even though we were new patients. When they realized they would not be able to save her, they made sure we were present before putting her to sleep, and presented us with a little vial containing a lock of her fur and a keepsake photo frame with her paw print. They also arranged to have her cremated, and presented her cremains to us in a beautiful wooden box with a certificate and her name on a brass plaque. While these gestures will never fill the hole she left behind, they went a long way in making us feel that our cat was valued. We have three additional cats, a dog, and a horse, and we will definitely use Mountain View when we move here permanently in the coming year.
