Friendly and efficient. I won't go to another vet unless it's an emergency, or after hours I've brought my dog here a couple times. (One for an infected neuter site from another Place,) Teddy had what we assumed was an infected hot spot on his tail. I was offered an X-ray for my dogs tail to see if there was something more than a hotspot. Unfortunately that wasn't the tax bracket I was in. The antibiotics did their job, cleared up the infection on Ted's tail. The antibiotics Dr.Erin prescribed saved his tail. Had I had the money for an X-ray, we would have seen what we called the toothpick from hell. We previously had a super mean cactus with spikes: one about 4" long got in his tail. I was able to remove it myself at home. The area completely healed up,hair grew back like fishing line lol. My cat completely forgot I existed. Chop suey showed me her real colors. Elise is now her legal Godmother. Her first time at the vet and she couldn't wait to explore the exam room. When Elise left the room Suey was concerned about where the bestie went. She waited at the door for her to return. Sat at the computer screen with her.. allowed two shots with only a little something to say about the first one. We were offered X-rays for Suey (I'm still not in that tax bracket) along with her antibiotics and steroid injections. She was given a tasty treat and ate it like the dutchess she is. I was given the bill. We've got one other dog and 3 additional cats that we will be bringing here to establish vet care.

While looking for something else, I came across this. My dogs (several over the years) have all been patients at Mountainview over the years. I have stayed with them based on their evident love and caring for all of my pets. One of the things that I have not seen mentioned is their extremely empathetic treatment for my dogs as they approached the end of their life. My most recent need for these services was for Brody. Brody had tumors in his mouth that were not responding to any treatments. We had reached the point where it could be assumed that it was cancer or auto-immune disease. Testing for that would be expensive and a strain on my already older pup, something we did not want to put him through. The vets were extremely caring about our decision to just keep him comfortable. When the day came, they treated Brody and us with caring abd respect. I just love these people.

Dr. Erin & the entire staff at Mountainview Small Animal Hospital have been a lifesaver for me and my dogs over the years. The Care and concern for each of my dog's medical needs is above and beyond other vets in my experience owning animals for over 25 years. I went in today just to say hi to the staff and thank them for the nice card they sent me when my latest Athena was put to rest. And it was great to see some new dogs in the waiting room. She had many medical needs and had to be there all day and because I let my dogs roam free she didn't like to be kenneled. So she had a special baby gate enclosure when she was there all day. And would just hang out and watch them work and just would watch the world go by most days. They even board animals and take in homeless dogs as well. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of solid honest vet care for your pets.

Love this place. They always take the best care of our pets and help guide us through any difficulties. Got an older cat that has been doing great from their expertise. Got a young puppy who is happy and healthy as well. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Great location ! I couldn't get an appointment with my normal vet I was able to make a same day appointment. Staff was very friendly gave the high and low cost of services. The only thing is which I understand but don't like is paying for each service before the service. At my other vet I was given a price then I signed the contract for the service then paid at the end of the service before leaving the vet . This one i had to pay a couple of times per service then for the meds . I like how I saw more than one Dr was available during my visit at my other vet only one Dr is available they sometimes go into surgery. Service was great I do plan on returning for my pets .
