My French Bulldog scratched his cornea, and my regular vet referred me to Mountain Star as his corneal ulcer worsened despite five days of treatment. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Due to a last-minute cancellation, I was able to get him in to see Dr. Emily Conway the same day I called – amazing! The team at Mountain Star is highly knowledgeable, and they really put my mind at ease. They have all the specialized equipment needed to diagnose and treat eye issues. My dog is now on a series of special medications and eye drops to help his injury heal. Even though my regular vet in Broomfield is fantastic, they simply don't have the specialized resources to handle this type of injury. As a concerned pet owner, I called Mountain Star a few times with questions after our appointment, as I’ve never dealt with an injury like this before. The staff is always attentive and quick to respond to my concerns. They saved me a lot of stress during this process with my little guy, and he’s now well on his way to recovery. Their office is extremely clean & modern as well. The minute I walked in, I knew I made the right decision in choosing Mountain Star. I cannot recommend this practice enough! Our Yorkie, Piper has been experiencing multiple eye infections. After many rounds of antibiotics, our primary care vet referred us to Mountain Star for an exam. From the minute you walk in, the, staff exudes, not only professionalism, but caring! It was an amazing experience throughout! They go above and beyond to make you and your pet comfortable and reassured! They even offered Piper treats and toys (they totally spoke her love language)! Dr Ashley Bendlin and staff were a delight to work with, and we have a a plan for treatment started for her ongoing success! Thank you for great care and a great experience ! I would highly recommend Mountain Star for your pets needs!!!!

Our experience here was fantastic. Such friendly and amazing staff. We took our dog Peyton in because he is losing his vision in his eye. Peyton has a history of Glaucoma and lost one of his eyes in 2022. Dr. Bendlin is very caring and shows such professionalism. She took her time diagnosing Peyton and provided great information on his condition and a treatment plan to help preserve what vision he has left. We were able to get in the same day, which was amazing because I really did not want to make the doggie wait through the weekend to be seen. I recommend Mountain Star Veterinary Specialists to anyone looking for extraordinary veterinary care for your pets needs.

All the staff at Mountain Star were very friendly and helpful. The office and rooms were so clean and updated. Dr. Chavkin spent alot of time with my pet, Tank and explained everything very well. Stacey was the vet tech and she was amazing!!! I highly recommend them.

Dr. Hoppers was amazing with our bambolina, as was the tech. Everyone was so friendly from the time we walked in the door, until the time we left. I highly recommend Mountain Star!
