The staff here was very friendly and kind. Our fur baby had a sudden health complication, and the staff explained the situation very thoroughly and competently. They were very comforting and accommodating as we made one of the toughest decisions of our lives. I cannot thank the staff enough for the high quality of care we received.

Dr. Graziedi was the Veterinarian in the ER who treated our Smitty. Dr. Graziedi was the most compassionate, caring, professional, knowledgeable & kind DVM I've ever met. I really wish ALL DOCTORS were like him! He explained to my daughter & me exactly what happened to our Smitty after he had eaten tilapia that had lemon in it. He explained the likelihood of our Smitty surviving after eating a toxic food. We are both grateful to have had a positive experience at Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital although we had to put our boy fur baby to sleep. { He crossed that Rainbow 🌈 Bridge.} Unfortunately though; the female worker at the front desk should have shown more empathy to us. Not only did she not show any empathy, she had said something that she should have never said, to ANYONE!!! When she called the ER while my daughter & I were standing @ the front desk, she says to whoever it was in the ER; " THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY". This was NOT the case....We did not have the MEANS to pay, we are disadvantaged presently. The female worker made us feel extremely uncomfortable & extremely dissapointed by her incorrect & inappropriate comment. She should be taught not to make ANYONE feel like we were made to feel!!!! Besides that; not one of the female staff in the ER had spoken ONE WORD to me or my daughter while our Smitty was getting observed & treated; as if we were INVISIBLE! Like why? What was that about? Not acknowledging either one of us or offering any words of comfort during our most difficult time of losing our beloved Smitty. This was also extremely uncomfortable, unwelcoming & totally unacceptable in this tragically unfortunate circumstance. All the ER staff that was there should be trained on how to show empathy, how to show at least a bit of compassion & how to interect with EVERYONE who walks into that ER with there fur baby! I was shocked & quite confused as to why we were made to feel unimportant & irrelevant. ER STAFF THAT WAS PRESENT, YOU MUST DO BETTER!!!!! Losing a pet is devastatingly heartbreaking!!!!!! At least the young lady who brought us Smitty's pawprints showed empathy & said she was sorry for our loss! We received a sympathy card from Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital, that was comforting & nice. It kinda sorta helped in our grieving. Thank you again Dr. Graziedi for treating us with dignity & genuine kindness, we are grateful for you.

The people that work here are something special. We rushed my injuried ferret there tonight and all of the staff we interacted with were so compassionate. Poor Toby didn’t make it but they the staff all the way through were wonderful. I can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend!!!! Oh and the keepsake is abt the cutest thing ever. I couldn’t ask for better people to help me and my daughter through that tough time ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are very satisfied with the behavioral services by Dr Shana and her team. Our rescue cattle dog needed medication support for anxiety and we are so grateful for their knowledge and expertise in helping him be a happy and smart pup. We highly recommend them!

This is a wonderful facility. They are kind, caring and attentive. They made bring my pet into the ER Vet a great experience. They took the time to listen and really care about the animals. Thankfully my dog is doing great. I really would recommend them to anyone i know.

Dr. Shanna is a lifesaver for our dog, Trooper. She takes the time to understand his global fear challenges and provided expert, compassionate guidance that progressed Trooper well beyond our expectations. Her tailored approach helped us support him in ways we never could have on our own. She genuinely cares about both pets and their families, and we are so grateful for her help. Our pets and our own quality of lives have significantly improved and continue to do so.

Reagan receives top notch care at MLAH! He has been a primary care patient for years and has donated blood many times. He has also used their emergency services. Every experience is a 10/10 and I couldn’t feel better about trusting MLAH with my boy’s health. They treat him like a king at every opportunity and he genuinely looks forward to going there.

I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else! We love MLAH, they are truly the best. They saved our boy multiple times; one surgery, one induced vomiting, and one endoscopy. The level of professionalism and expertise from everyone involved is incredible. Photo of the suspect who eats non-food items.

I care for an opossum and as one can imagine, it was very daunting trying to find a professional well-versed in virginia opossum biology, anatomy and medical care. MLAH completely covered all bases and I met the wonderful Dr. Jones. She is, in short, a wildlife wizard. I’m forever grateful for the work she has done to not only care for my opossum, Puna, but also research and educate me so we can decide on the best care for her path. I hope to continue to go to MLAH not only for Puna, but for any other wildlife I come into the care of. Dr. Jones as well as the reception and techs are all wonderful and extremely caring.
